The Pro Comp coil overs are like 6" longer then stock and are made for a bracket lift.
I know I tried to install the Pro comps with my CST arms and there was no way the lower control arms were going down far enough to get the comps hooked up.
Someone correct me if I am wrong and please show me pictures of how you managed it without having a bracket lift

fabtech makes coilovers that arent for lifted applications.

Y not just save up and get PRG SAWs or RadFlo?

Ah, didn't know he already had em. I'd do the same.

and i can be wrong. he didnt say he had them, but the way he put it i ASSUMED he does. so once again i may be eating my own words.

Ahhh See now that is where I made an assumption I figured they would be the ones for the Stage 2 lift and those are 6" over stock. Jud seemed to be going in on a deal from the buy/sell section that was for the stage 2 lift kit, so the coils would be to long but then again maybe it was a stage 1 lift with stock length coils (did'nt know fab tech made em short)

stage 1 and stage 2 are the same. what makes it a stage 2 is the coilovers vs stage 1 has factory struts. so if he is picking them up from the stage 2 kit then YES WAY TOO LONG

Yeah, sorry for not beng more specific, they are the ones from the buy and sell for the stage 2... Sorry for being clueless when it comes to suspension but always heard coilovers = good and thought this was a good chance o pick some up cheap... Thanks for the responses... I guess I'll just go with some bilstein 5100's. Thanks for saving me close to 500$!

Deadlift, I'd love to put some radflos on but, I don't know how much lobster fishing is on the news down there but in the last 2 years I bought a house and my gf had a baby and the price went from $7 a pouind to $3.50 so I'm just trying to make things pay and I thought I found a good deal.. Soo everybody in the states should start buying more lobsters or raise your dollar up about 30 cents so my lobsters would be worth something haha

Since you already have a 2.5" spacer, adding the 5100's may cause you to have too much UCA to coil bucket contact, (due to the 5100's 1/2" longer length). So consider the Bilstein HD's instead.

I`m buying the RC UCA`s from crash2045 and I was hoping I could set the bilsteins on the middle setting and use the spacer for 3 inchs of lift with no coil bucket contact... Is this gonna work or no... If not I could just take out the spacer and I friend of mine just bought a T and I`m sure he could find a use for it...Like I said I`m clueless to all this, I`ve wasted hours reading up on here but the more I read the less I seem to understand..

The RC should be good for an extra 1/2" of spacer-like lift, but you are already 1/2" higher than suggested, ('04 4x4 are supposed to run the 2" spacers). You might want to trade someone for a 1.5" spacer, maybe a 2" if you don't have contact marks on your bucket now. Coil preload shouldn't make the contact worse, just the ride.

If it measures 1.5" it lifts 2.5".
If it measured 2" it would lift 3.3", and you would definitely be getting major coil bucket contact.

Sorry for another stupid question but how do I get rid of coil bucket contact? Right now with stock everything I am getting major coil contact and it feels like my front end is getting beat to pieces with just the spacer!
