I am hearing mixed opinions on if they will fit or not, with or without the PWM. I think I will try one out and if it fits, run'um! If not, they will wait for my 6" PC.
I am not sure; whatever comes factory in an XE, non-big tow. What gear ratio do you have? I have 2.94 and i'm stepping up to 35's next go around and wondering if you have and torque converter lock up issues.
Thanks sounds like you got the 2.94's as well. Truck looks great as is bud....leave it like that is my vote.I am not sure; whatever comes factory in an XE, non-big tow.
Although it has only been a day or two; I have not had any issues so far, fingers crossed.

Pinch weld mod done. I think I over did it, but I didn't see any issues taking too much.
Coated in primer, then bedliner. Tossed the inner fender back in, and used a self tapping screw to pin the rear of the inner fenders up into the newly added space.
I personally found a angle grinder to be MUCH easier to work with over my sawzall that the other guys mentioned.
On the negative - I tapped my fender with the disc... ouch. Nice little scratch on it now! O well, I am sure there are many more to come! haha
Thanks for all the comments guys!

 i didTires installed, and just a little rubbing issues. PWM being done tonight.
I did have to trim some of the inner fender on the rear, which no one has mentioned in the past.
Pictures coming soon.
Thank You. I am seriously considering no lift, but Ive wanted one sooo bad. I could probably make it look like a badass pre-runner though...Thanks sounds like you got the 2.94's as well. Truck looks great as is bud....leave it like that is my vote.
Thank You! i didlooks FN sick bro... i say leave the truck as is, no lift."idhitit2:
'08 4x4 SE, 1.5" PRG Leveling Kit, and PWM. Not an ounce anywhere. I tried like hell to get them to rub yesterday and could not. Very happy with the PWM!So you fit 35's on an '08 with the PRG 1.5 and the PWM?!? In theory, I could fit the same tire with 5100's set in the middle and the PWM... Decisions, decisions
I really want the better ride quality I hear of with the 5100's. Those 35's look sick on your truck. My question is, could I fit 35's with with the 5100's on the middle? I don't mind doing a little trimming..Thank You. I am seriously considering no lift, but Ive wanted one sooo bad. I could probably make it look like a badass pre-runner though...
I also have an idea for a new grill mod that I really want to do. Ill post it up on the forum here.
Thank You!

From one owner to the other - I am flat out blown away at the different personality that my truck has taken on. Pictures do not give it 100% justice. I you need any help, dimensions or anything, let me know.
I have no experience with the 5100, sorry buddy!I really want the better ride quality I hear of with the 5100's. Those 35's look sick on your truck. My question is, could I fit 35's with with the 5100's on the middle? I don't mind doing a little trimming..

No worries man. So with the PRG 1.5... no clunk, contact anywhere or anything else out of the ordinary? All good right? The reason I ask is, the stance on your truck is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I like the tires tucked in the wheel wells and like a little meat sticking out from the fenders..I have no experience with the 5100, sorry buddy!
No apologies needed here.. If borobulker is happy with the spacer, I may just go that route for now. Hold off on replacing shocks. That money saved will allow more budget for tires!!:eyebrow:Sorry to tell ya but the ride quality is not that great. Mine are set on the middle setting and I don't think I could get 35's on there. I rubbed with 275/70's. But my rims have 0mm offset and 55" of bs.
You'll have a clunk here and there but nothing that has thrown me off. No contact anywhere that I can feel, post PWM. FYI, I have just under 200 miles on the set-up thus far.No worries man. That makes sense to me. Now, it doesn't ride like a Cadillac, but I don't want it to either. I like having a little feedback, and a stiff ride in a 4x4.No apologies needed here.. I am running 40# all the way around. I have right around 1000 miles on these bad boys already...Looks good man!
What psi. are you running in all your tires. I just put on some Toyos also and have 40psi in the front and 39psi in the back. It's a bit rough on the bumps, and was wondering how yours are riding.
I just replaced some BFG KM2s. IMHO, it is night and day in favor for the Toyos. The ride, however, was a bit nicer on the BFGs with 40psi. (maybe because the BFGs are softer). The damn BFGs were half way gone at the 12,000 mi. rotation mark.
Keep me updated! I am listening.I dropped my psi. down to 35 (from 40) this weekend. To me, it rides much better. It's still a bit more bumpy than the BFGs, but tolerable. I also notice that the steering is a bit more loose (if that makes sense). I did go with narrower/taller tires, which may factor into the looser feeling in the wheel?
All things aside, however, I do like the Toyos better. I might just have to play with the psi. more.:eyebrow:
There's a link in my sig showing the pinch weld mod, (pwm). You can fit 35's with 3" of lift, especially on a Pro-4x on stock rims, with minimal trimming. On aftermarket rims that stick out more than stock, due to smaller backspacing or wider width, more trimming is needed.Quick question for ya
I want to put the same tires on my truck, 08 pro-4x ext cab with 3" body lift. Would these tires fit without issues? And what is the pinch weld mod? Sorry new to Titans bought mine in February. Thanks in advance!!
Perfect explanation! Thanks NorCal!There's a link in my sig showing the pinch weld mod, (pwm). You can fit 35's with 3" of lift, especially on a Pro-4x on stock rims, with minimal trimming. On aftermarket rims that stick out more than stock, due to smaller backspacing or wider width, more trimming is needed.
For example, with a 2.5" leveling kit and 8" with rims with 4.5" backspacing, (which stick out about 1.5" more than my stock Off Road rims), I needed the pwm and mudguard removal with 34's but on the stock rims they would have probably been fine.
