It is humid as fuuuuuudge and its going to low 80's at the start of the race and high 70's by the end. I'm leaving now. These weather conditions will hurt me and it won't matter for Jpac being SCed. I took all my seats and everything out=). I'm at probably 3520 lbs and stock is 3800...Trying to make it more interesting if I can get out of the hole

They are probably in the staging lanes right now. I wonder when we will hear from one of them? LOL @ the seat mod! :)

It's been raining so the was closed. Oh well, they can go back to keyboard racing. :). Would have been nice to see them go at it.

Sorry Chris... You know how crazy FL weather is. In Orlando it's been raining almost all day.

Gary! I was going to post back that I ran 12.2 and Jpac ran 12.0!!! Aww man. Yes today was a major major disappointment. Gates open at 6pm,and by my clock in my car, it started raining at 6pm excatly. I was so so pissed. The car is running really really good with the mods and weight taken out. I think it would have been a great race! Oh well, we cruised around a bit and tried to do some pulls on the road, but even hours later, the roads where still damp enough that neither one of us could really get into it. Major bummer, and I'm sorry for Jpac for such a long drive

All I gotta say is d@mn I'm glad I didn't wake up at 4am yesterday in order to get down there in time. :pPPPP

That means you have to come up to Atlanta in October Steve!!!

And I did indeed get my tires mounted yesterday. They hook veryyyy well and look a lot better being staggered as little as they are. I love them. Road noise is a thing of the past.


Ford dealership said a rental was available for $30 a day as they did warranty work. I said fudge that, I'll wait till I'm done with my CJ5 in November and not pay a silly rental fee.

When is the ATL meet? I have to race you and JPac before he gets his cams. He's coming back in December, but by then will be more modded, and I'm done with performance for the time being. Well, at least added HP performance. Its time to strengthen this thing. I will probably come to the October ATL meet depending when it is. Hopefully it is not between the 16th-19th

I totally agree. This has been talked about since May when I bought the Mustang. I drove my @$$ down from Alaska in the Mustang, modded it and finally had the time to drive from South Carolina to Florida to do this and mother F@cking nature had to be on her period the exact moment the track opened. I was def not a happy camper last night. To add insult to injury, on my way from Tampa to Orlando, a stupid piece of crap Audi SUV decides to hit a tire, sends it flying and takes out the lower grill on my car. So damage to my car, wasted time and wasted money. SO PI$$ED

It was cool though. I met up with 3 other Mustangs out there. A Mach 1 built for road racing, a Vortech Supercharged 2V which was going to be his first time at the track also and a SN-95 with the PI swap and cams. I also met Steve for the first time and his smelly Mustang sounding Goat lol. Unfortunatley for him, his car sounds just like mine. Cool guy though. We had some Wing House and joked around for a while. We tried playing on the streets but I spun through every gear except 5th. Oh well. Thanks Steve for coming out and wasting your time lol. Ill be back in December for sure and we can try this again. The pony will have a few more power mods but Im sure you wont have a problem keeping up anyway. Pics and crappy blurry vids coming soon as soon as I get back to my computer.

Idk Steve. It's in the South East forum.....Sounds like it may be between the 16-19 IIRC. I'll come down sometime. Gotta remember I'm still stock.

Yeah the middle video, I was trying to go WOT beside him, and you can't see it, but I was just spinning and getting sideways. Have any idea how annoying it with 2 performance cars, that we have been wanting to race for months and months, trash talking, modding for and then when the time comes, it rains all friggin evening?? That's probably the most aggrevated I have been this year lol
