How long do you plan to keep your Titan?

I've been asked that question by some people who see me putting Mobil1 oil in the engine, and rear diff., babying the truck, garaging and polishing it. I plan on keeping this truck for at least 100K miles barring any unforeseen major problems.
How about everyone else?

I seriously do plan on keeping this Truck forever. I hope it will still be running like new after the loan is paid off.

Until I am ready to buy another Nissan truck probably. I really like the Z too. I would say between 60-70 K.

Probably keep my truck 'til the next generation of Titans come out, then upgrade. Really like the new Z. Maybe 2 Nissans in the garage!

Keep my truck at least 80,000 miles until the next generation Titans. I am also interested in the upcoming Tundra, curious to see what it will look like and what will be under the hood.
I would like to complement my Titan with another Nissan car, well an Infiniti. I like the Nissan Z, but I really like the G35 and M35.

My extended warranty is good up until 100,000 miles. After that I would trade it in. I know a guy with a 1995 chevy 1500 pickup that is rusting and he has expensive problems that reoccur every year for the past 3 years. I typically repair my vehicles if not covered under warranty but the Titan engine/transmission might require special tools and expensive parts for repair. Heck, changing the transfluid is by yourself is diffucult without the right equipment. There is a point were you have to stop and get another vehicle. In the long run it makes sense to keep your vehicle but with technology gains they might have a hybrid Titan that is faster and receives better mpg's. I believe that this truck will last well after 100,000 miles but I budget new vehicles every 5 years. Maybe I'll keep the Titan and get another vehicle at the 100,000 mile mark.

My last truck (91 chev 1500) had over 250,000 miles on it when I gave it to one of my sons last year. It's still going strong everyday.

I was planning on keeping it for a while (or until something new come on the market that I must have) but with recent problems ive been having...I might be getting rid of it sooner than Id like.

Waiting for a hybrid 4 x 4 SUV/TRUCK!!!!

I really want a hybrid 4 x 4 suv/truck.........like the one Toyota is working on.Wish NISSAN would and hope they are doing the same thing. I don't care if it only saves a little fuel........I do like the hybrid technology and have tried many hybrid cars and talked with many owners of them......all are happy. So I might have my current Titan for a year or two.......maybe more. My T100 gave 6 good years of service and I was hoping for the same with the Titan.......but if gas goes above $3/gallon I might have to get a second vehicle like a Subaru.....and keep the Titan in the carport. For now I'm enjoying the ride.......more than any other vehicle I've owned!!
