Cajun Merge Kit and B-Pipes ARRIVED!

The sound will be deeper overall, however i've never run a borla or vibrant reso before. I imagine it'll be very similar to most of the Borla setups some of you all have.

Mine will be dumped as well.

I'm just as curious as everyone else to find out lol. The anticipation is gettin to me!

Well i'm an official owner of a Borla 40946 now!

3.5'' inlet/outlet
21'' overall length
16'' case.


Also ordered these two parts from amazon after some final measurements for space and some going back and forth on pricing. Should be here next week sometime.

And this jewel below took quite some researching to get what i wanted all in one.

MBRP MB1012 Pro Series 3.5'' Mandrel T304 90* Bend (second in pic, only pic i could find)

3.5'' diameter and has 12'' legs. So that is my 2 feet of piping and a turndown all in one piece.

When the Bullet and the piping comes in, i'll post pics of it all together, and then get it all installed and re-dynoed!









OHhhh and for extra rwhp gains, im gettin Gweezy to hook me up with a couple of these! White and Red yo!

I'm gonna ditch the Relentless RPM and Salt Life decal on the back glass and sport the real muhphuckin deal lol!

We shall see what happens with the 3.5'' setup on my T. Whether it loses or gains, i can't turn back now and i'm keeping an open mind. Just have to get the tuning down thru E-tunes as best as possible and ride with the setup.

Plus it was my decision to go forward with this setup on my T so i could get some testing done for Jeff and Cajun to see where a stock cammed full bolt on 07+ stands.

Either way i'm excited to run the new Cajun setup and finally hear what a Borla XR-1 is really about!

Will keep everyone updated!

Got some more parts in today!

Thanks to Nightowl, I got the Vibrant 17970 Resonator: 3.5'' in/out, 18'' overall length and 5'' diameter. aka big dayum resonator.

Here are some pics of the Vibrant resonator and Borla for size comparison.

Also received my OEM metal gaskets for the B-pipes and Cajun Merge kit.

Just waiting for the MBRP 3.5'' piping, which should be here tomorrow and i'll of course post pics up of that as well.

Then if all goes well, this thursday everything should get installed!

nice. this makes me want to ditch the nismo tru dual and go with the merge and borla xr1's. from sound clips, i believe borlas have the best tone and rumble without being obnoxious.

what kind of gains are there going from a 2.5/3.0 to 2.5/3.5? might jump on it if it really does make a difference

We shall see very soon. Two of the four dynos with this Cajun y pipe have produced + numbers and there are two more dynos coming soon...:redblob"

I'm anxious myself to see what happens! lol.

I will post it up as soon as i know, its all in the tuning, and hopefully its not 100* out the day i go to the dyno either.

I'm gonna go after 5pm, so it ill be cooler, maybe it'll be exactly same temp as my last dyno.

To be honest though, i'd stay with the 2.5/3.0 setup mainly because the piping size and parts are cheaper and easier to come by at the exhaust shop and online.

I had to order all my 3.5'' piping and Vibrant doesn't offer an ultraquiet in 3.5'' yet. Plus most exhaust shops may not carry that size, so it adds up.

Btw, the I had originally ordered the Dynomax bullet muffler 3.5'' in/out to use after the borla as a resonated tip/turndown setup.

But... Dynomax HQ doesn't have any of the 3.5'' in/out Bullets in stock and won't be shipping them out until mid-end july. So i went with the Vibrant Bottle.
