I feel your pain I hate our ECU, and ****ty shifting points for our trucks.. I can't imagine how much faster the titan would be if both of those could be fixed bet easy 14's with exhaust and intake..
thats weird...my shifting pints are at redline when actually gunning it...Im good with mine...

Mine does as well but the problem is we are only producing 200hp or less there.

I find the truck "feels" like it accelerates faster if you modulate the throttle so it shifts earlier. It seems WOT is inefficent.

Me too...and others.

Smashing the gas doesn't seem to get the most out of the truck. I've noticed this more so off the line then anywhere else.

Yep, all the torque down low in the rpm range.

The 350Z probably just had our AT in it I figure.

My commute is about 40 miles each way on a two lane, curvy, hilly road with few passing spots. What I've found is that when I pass someone I only use partial throttle so the truck downshifts only once, not twice. If I floor it and it downshifts twice while the engine revs more I get less acceleration. It would really be helpful if I had a manual transmission so that I could slip into 4th gear in anticipation of a pass, then be able to floor it. Don't get me wrong, I love my Titan, and it's plenty quick, but it would be much quicker with a better tranny. I wonder if a chip would be helpful in changing the shift points
