As the title states...I currently own a 2008 Tundra DoubleCab - because of our growing family, hauling car seats etc..I would love to find a used CrewMax Tundra to be honest but are outrageously priced. I have found quite a few loaded 2010+ Crew Cab Titans around $25-26k with low miles...I just don't know about long term reliability. Also - I would LOVE input + pictures from anyone that owns a Titan CREWCAB and has car seats strapped in the back. Can you keep the front seats all the way back or do your kids still kick the seatbacks? Thanks for any and ALL input on this...

not sure on the car seats, but 08+ are pretty dang reliable.

throttle sensitivity and brakes are exact opposite in the titan compared to the tundras. so driving a tundra makes you a crappy jerky driver, the titan makes you a smooth driver lol. i'm terrible at driving my dads tundra.

LOL I know exactly what you mean by that! I never noticed until others have driven or commented on it too lol..its is very touchy starting out, just makes it fun! would you say the Titan still has plenty of pick up ~ get up and go ~ compared to the latest trucks available?

absolutely. its got a pretty low first gear so it definitely gets up and goes, especially if you disable the factory wide open throttle restriction. Take one for a test drive and you'll be pleasantly surprised at the overall feel for the truck.

My 18 month olds forward facing seat gives him tons of room back there, Huge difference from my Jeep, And he cant kick the seat yet.

my rockford sounds good with my added 10" sub and kenwood amp lol. stock rockford isnt half bad. it comes stock with a little sub under the drivers seat.

thats a clean truck in the link.

I'm hoping she negotiates and goes to 4. But she wants a juke also. The turbo versio and awd. That might tote 4 kids. Might.
no offence but jukes are useless. unless your sitting in the front those things are a joke. i sat in the back of one of them for an hour once. (my aunts) the roof was so low i had to pretty much lay down

Yea she wants one and get a custom paint job of a frog on it. Says it looks like a tree frog. And with it being the awd and turbo she can have it tweaked some. I'm like ok as long as I can keep the truck.

if no one else is in the car its pretty fun. once you have 4 people in it its got zero power. my little sister has one. the turbo is cool tho.

Sounds like sending her on a long weekend while you get a snip snip would be the best option or get a mini van...

I own a 2010 CC SE without a center console. I came from a Ford that had a center console but my 8 month old absolutely refused the back seat. So I sold the Ford and went on the look for a CC, 4x4 without a console. I ended up with a smoke CC, column shift 4x4 with 82k mile. I have owned it for 6 months and I absolutely love it! The ride is smoother, cab is quieter and roomier and the power throughout the power band is great. Buy one and you wont by disappointed
