I had a thread about my install with pics of the Optronics Driving lights (model # QH-75IT) last month.

Since that post, I have had nothing but problems with these lights. The drivers side light has fallen (pointing to the ground) once and the passenger side twice. The mounting brackets for these lights are very cheap and obviously don't hold. The set screw is tiny and overall the hardware is crap. I guess I should have spent the money for real lights...going to have to now.

Anyways, just wanted to provide my public service announcement for the day...:soap:

Does anyone know the diameter of the bumper openings or the factory fog/driving lights? I want to find an almost exact fit light that I can hopefully use all the existing wiring I have in place.

Can't you fab up something a little more solid out of aluminum bar stock or something? Drill it, tap it, and set it up a little better but still keep the lights? That's what I'd try before sinking more bucks into replacing it.

Blackbeauty...I had thought about that but now one of the lense covers is cracked. I will have to buy a replacement for it as well. I e-mailed the company with my complaints and question about the cheap quality...wait and see what they have to say first before doing anything.

My initial thoughts for bigger and better quality light was that I would hopefully be able to use the existing wiring setup and it would take me much time to complete the install
