I'm looking for a kayak rack for my '04 Titan, and I ran across this rack from Home Depot...

Well, I was gonna post the link, but I'm not allowed to on this site yet. But if you go to homedepot.com and search for "titan", it'll come up.

Has anyone used this rack? It's much cheaper than the other options that I've ran across. But, with it being internet order only, I can't really go take a look at it in the store to see if it's what I'm looking for. If anyone has some input, I'd appreciate it.

after TONS of research..(sorry can't help you with your specific question) but i'll offer that if you have the stock Nissan bars/racks over the box of your truck..Thule hull raisers will adapt with mighty mounts..

if you have a canopy (like me) I would put a track system on the canopy, Thule TK1, Thule 430 Tracker II Foot Pack, Locks, LB58 Bars, and Track,

Then use the Thule 897xt Hullavator The Thule 897XT Hullavator kayak rack makes the loading process a lot easier.

Accommodates kayaks up to 36 inches wide with improved cradle design
More robust, user-friendly latch mechanism ensures carrier stays down when loading/unloading, and securely on roof for transport
Reduces lift height required to load and unload a kayak by 40 inches

or go with the Thule 847 Outrigger II,
The Thule 847 Outrigger II Lift Assist A brand new design that makes it even easier to load and unload boats alone. Great for the lone paddler, the extension bar provides the extra hand when loading.

Retractable bar extends from inside load bar and provides pivot point for loading boats on tall vehicles, including vans, trucks, SUV's and wagons
Lift one end of the boat onto the extension bar, lift the other end onto the canoe or kayak carrier and now you can easily re-position the first end onto the canoe or kayak carrier
Allows for full length of base rack load bar to be utilized for other accessories
Prevents unwanted boat to vehicle contact
Fits Thule standard load bars only

Personally, i'm going with the hullavator because i'm not 8 ft tall to safely put my boats in the hull raiser (and tie down) on top of the Canopy.

*cheers*

Another option, the one I use for my yak, is the "extend a truck". I fits in the hitch and can go upright to put the yak on the cab of the truck, or can go out straight, if you put the yak in the bed.
$99 at Cabelas.
