thats good....... I have replaced alternator 3 times.. power steering pump 3 times.... radiator 3 times.. rack and P 4 times.
rebuild the transmission 3 times..list goes on and on . but not a sign of rust anywhere...
I wouldnt even think about rebuilding the transmission on my Nissan though.. i cant even change the oil..cant get the filler tube needed to change the oil..
You have to pump the oil from underneath the transmission to fill and check it. You need a special tool and it aint the same tool and oil for the 7 speed and the 9 speed transmission. Its the most retarded process I have ever seen. I guess its aimed at shops since they have lifts.

Has any put in a detroit truetrac or a posi in the rear end?
or would it clash with the traction control..
A 4x4 without even a rear posi a waist of a 4x4..
I think the Pro had a locker in the rear though..

On the rear end issue, if you have an electronic locking differential you are good. I put a TruTrac on my open ended 4 x 2. It does work better in more adverse road conditions. However,
it does like to fight in turns under acceleration.

you must have the titan pro.. with a stock locking diff..
I dont have the pro. So I have a open diff or peg leg.. A true track is a geared posi that doesn't wear out like a limited slip posi does.
I dont know if they even make one for the new Titans.....It seems there are so few Titans on the road....there are very few custom aftermarket parts.

check the TSB for how the scoring looks. i cannot see your videos to even guess about them.

there is maybe one place that someone found that made a locker for the second generation trucks. some places sell a gearset and locker that is adapted from a d44 using a spacer but one guy who tried it had the bolts back out and destroy his rear end (i think gears and housing). do a search on here and hopefully it shows up so you can read about what he had found available when he chose the spacer route

I have looked there is nothing for aftermarket rear end parts......
cant even find a ring and pinon. let alone a posi or trutrak.
looks like a factory locker from the pro is the only option,
where i launch my boat at is a super steep hill and need a posi for sure.
these trucks have many issues for many reasons..
even checking the scanner my transmission temps are around 240 degrees F. around town.. it wont last. thats not even towing.

Be aware the old rules don't apply to modern transmissions. My 2011 Titan operates within the old paradigm of trans temps, but my wife's 2017 Expedition runs 200-215deg in regular driving. It heats a little more when towing our 6k wakeboat. Newer transmissions are designed to run at higher temps.

I didnt know that. that is good news..
but I think one of the problems is the transmission fluid breaks down at high temps....causing slipping..

I dont know. I have towed cars on a flatbed from other states, many other states away, and pulled my little travel trailer to a few places here in south texas and never had slipping.

My truck came with the trans temp bar gage on the center console. Its not got numbers on it but it always stays in the same range, even towing up ratton pass going to colorado and back

I have the gauge as well with no numbers. you will need a scanner with Nissan software to show actual temps while driving...
i guess I can use the scanner and compare where the bar is at on the dash.. they are probably not giving us numbers for a reason..

Modern fluids is why the old rules don't apply. Modern transmission lubricants don't break down at low to middle 200s like the stuff you poured in your C6 or Turbo350.

thats pretty good price but i have a scanner. yes your right the transmission has like 200 different numbers about the trans alone.. i have no idea what most of them are and I have rebuilt many transmissions in the past.
gatorback mudflap. will have to google that.
