Hello fellow TTs,

I been hearing a lot of great reviews on the S&B intake system for the titans (ie. Great HP & TQ gains). Does anyone have pics of this intake installed on their trucks, if so can you please post some pics..I tried a couple of searches and only saw pics of the other brands of intakes installed (Volant,k&n,AEM,Injen, etc).. :ugh: ...Thank you..

here's mine. I know, I know, the paint is terrible. I got impatient and took the tape off too soon. I have another lid at the office I am working on.
That LOGO alone will cause lost of HP.:D

J/K Look good, also I think S&B offer free engraving of the lid.

They do offer free engraving. I just happen to have a laser I can use so I did my own.

Now, just because it's rough being a Texans fan doesn't mean you have to hate. lol

hehe yeah. I think today when it cools down I am going to wash the beast thoroughly, then wipe down the engine compartment with a damp rag, and take better pics :)

Filthy, filthy, filthy engine, but it has a nice intake!

Thanks for the pics guys...Looks like the S&B will be my intake of choice...As for the numbers gain...I got this from the Club Titan forum..A very Knowledgeable member there named Shailey did some dyno tests on his titan...Read his results below...12hp & 14lbs Tq...

Cold Air Intake and Throttle Body Spacer Tests

"S & B intake. Add one more to the mix guys and girls! I bought one a short while back and have been using it for about 3 weeks now. I am going to go out on a limb and say that this intake is awesome.

UPDATE ON S & B: I have now dynoed the intake and have have results on the 0-60 and 1/4 mile runs. S & B wins it all. S & B now has the lowest 0-60 time and 1/4 mile time of all of them. Now do keep in mind that I do have a 75 mm throttle body on it now that helps out tremendously. The only two intakes I have used with the throttle body have been the Injen and S & B. Here are the gains...12 hp and 14 lbs of torque.

The noise level is much quieter quieter than the volant but not as quiet as the Injen. I had some slight fitment issues but about 10 seconds wtih a bench grinder and that was taken care of. One of the edges would not sit down on the lid perfectly so I rounded it off so it would go down in there.

A couple other things to mention. The MAF sensor placement is in a bad place. Either attach the MAF sensor before you attach the tube to the throttle body or make certain you have a stubby screwdriver. The lower screw puts you almost up against the intake manifold about 4" away from it.

On a very good note, it has cut out places for the a/c hose so you do not have to bend the a/c hose to get it to fit in there properly.

Great pic of your intake. Was noticing that white tube coming out of your intake and leading towards the front of your truck(see attachment). Did that piece come with the intake or is that something you modified  Didn't notice that with the other pics because the washer bottle was still attached...Please advise. Thanks..

it's a ram air idea me and others have done, with great effects after 45mph, the truck doesnt feel like it's starving for air and the air going into the motor is rarely more than 3-5 degrees above ambient air temps.. without this air can be as high as 15-18degrees higher than the ambient air temps
