Updates? I'm not holding my breath on this one.

Yea I figure the teaser video Nissan put out will be the last "update" we get until the release

I'm still content with mine. And two titan's later, neither has let me down. But, I agree a major "Re-design" is waaay over due. If Nissan "does it right", they could possibly put a squeeze on the Big 3.

Well, where is today's update

Just more of a countdown to remind people how close we are. I apologize if I rubbed anyone the wrong way with this post as I am just excited with the release of the new truck. I know most updates have already been released so I apologize that I cannot provide any new information. I'll remove this post if it is annoying any one.

I'm pumped too, great post! Excited to see the new truck, hope its great. The only thing I'm bummed about is waiting for the second year model to get at least some of the kinks out. I really hope Nissan put adequate brakes on this Gen 2 truck.

Obviously they know they have to step it up interior wise.

Anyone have any word on the Armada, is the basic assumption that a new Armada is in order sometime late next year as well, or maybe the year after?

My wife has a Armada and would want the new one as well.

Nissan better get it right, otherwise both of my 2011 Nissan's will be going to......

I know their aren't many Ts in Michigan but is anybody else going to the auto show? The 12th is for press and 15th is for public.

That's for a 15' not the new 16'. I don't know how they will sell one, knowing the next Gen is right around the corner. They probably will drop over 5k on those prices in 7-8 months.

i'm anxious to see it too. i won't be buying for a couple years though.. but the new truck may not be another titan. been very happy with mine, but if this new one doesn't twirl my beenie, i'll be going somewhere else.

2015 will probably be the worst sales the Titan has ever seen.....at least until the prices get slashed on leftover 2015's.

#19 ·
I'm stunned at the MSRP's they want for those 2015's!

Pricing looks like it is still a new model. No wonder sales suck.

The new Titan will be a 2016 model year. Won't know about that pricing until probably mid-year or later.

ya it had me going almost lol at first when i read that i thought they were gunne re-use the 318hp version of the vk with a 5 speed auto still! lets hope nissan isnt dumb enough to do that and hope for the VD!!!

The VK56DE has probably seen the end of it's run with the outgoing 2015 Titan. But what a run it was!

I highly doubt the vk56 lower end is going anywhere. Just like the vq, it'll probably gain some better timing control and intakes.
The 97 f150 came out very early in '96, I wanna say January, but I can't remember now. Nissan would be stupid to wait until fall or even late summer to release their new beast.

I think the DE is history, but the VD will survive. You know that in the truck game, it's all about bragging rights, so everyone puts their biggest foot forward. What's more interesting to me is what the smaller engine choice(s) will be. Fuel economy has become the new underlying realm of fierce competition in the full size truck world.
