For all those 2004 owners on this board, do you guys miss the days when seeing another Titan on the road was a rare thing to experience and something to talk about on titantalk?

I miss the days when our trucks were the new kids on the block and everyone was like "WHOA  That's a nice truck :rockon in all the gas stations"

But I still have the same feeling as I did when I first drove it off my driveway. I love this truck.

Satisfied owner for life or until gas prices go up to 6 dollars a gallon. jk

That's funny you brought this up...Sunday I'm at a 4-way stop here in Burbank, and what do I see? 2 other Titans going the other ways at the same intersection! 3 total including me...All 3 of us stopped at the same time .
Looked like a TV commercial!

Yep.....said the same to wife the other day. Seen 2 Titans at same intersection! Love my 2004 but will update to new 2006 or 2007 next year. 27000 miles no problems here.

Other Titan owners still occationally give that approving nod as we pass....as if they feel that,yep....I'm one of them. I've noticed this with my Jeep and also a few years ago with my Vette.

I remember the first time I saw a Titan. "That is one ugly Truck, I would never own 1 of those!" As I said to my wife. It was a 2wheel drive and it looked to me like the front springs had collapsed and the butt was sticking up in the air like it was trying to fart. I was driving my Frontier and was ready to trade. So I finally saw the 4x4 and it looked better so I drove it and WOW! That is all it took. I said I better drive others first. I went to the chevy dealer drove one of "those" and went back to the nissan and said I've seen enough. The rest in history!

I look at it this way, Now I have people to race and give me a good run. Raced a white one a couple of days ago. Edged him out, must be the lower gears of the OR package. He didn't have either the OR or BT. Let the fun begin.

Here in north central Missouri I still rarely see another Titan but you don't have to go very far before you see 2 or 3 on the road.

Like I said before, mods, mods and more mods!
I'm contemplating a custom paint job for the hood of my galaxy black '04 CC LE.
Did anyone see the Overhaulin episode of the '05 black mustang by Chip where he painted the 'stang with silver stripes tailing down the front quarter panels, something similar would look good on the Titan (IMO).

I still get those feelings :smoke: . I was the only Titan out here for a while. Occasionally one would get off I-90 and come downtown, which is about a mile from the freeway. The tavern where I work is next door to the local ******* bar, so I'm always surrounded by domestic trucks. There's one other Titan out here, but I rarely see it downtown. 23K strong and no problems! :gunz:

i still never see them around by me. every now and then i will see one but not too often. i noticed it with my maxima and it pissed me off when i got mine then 2 months later 3 more showed up on my same street, 1 was the same color as mine. im just glad this hasent happened with the titan.

I still feel like the only one. There are about 3 or 4 new Titans in town but noone will ever have a Sedona one. My Rare and collectable limited edition Titan will always be rare!! LOL. :futwice:
Be Safe out there.

I just saw another one in Quarryville the small town near where I live. I believe my 2004 was the first titan drivin in Lancaster County. I remember all the ******** looking my truck over then. I was suprised by the positive interest many had.

Living in "occupied" Northern Va I see them fairly often. Still not commonplace by any means but it's coming. The word's out fellas!!! :jester:

I still get lots of questions and comments about my truck at local gas stations and general stores out in rural va where I hunt they look at it like a space ship :D I DO keep my truck VERY clean which helps.

I haven't raced another Titan yet but it will be fun I'm sure.

HEY!!! We should all agree on a certain hand signal to flash to other Titan owners... my boss and I (both have Titans) do a sideways peace signs like we're "G's" even though we're tragically white and very unhip.

I had the only one down here for awhile, then 2 more showed up within a couple months of each other. I guess they decided to copy me. I still get the crane necks every where I go though. I love it.

They're all over the place here now. When I got mine just over a year ago it didn't seem like there were too many. I was on vacation in Hawaii this summer and I saw a bunch of them there as well. It kind of suprised me to see so many there.

i was calling every dealership in vegas til one finally got some. i literally got like the second one in vegas. for a week or two was awesome cuz only armadas were out at this point. all the attention was great, six months later they were everywhere. but for those first six months someone was challenging me seemed like every other day. i was so proud of my truck :crying:

i still am, but i think half the reason and the fun of getting new mods is to get that old feeling back.

kinda like that first toke of buddha from your buddy's custom soda can pipe at lunch time :smoke: :hungry: :zzzz:

Yeah, the other day when I arrived @ work there were 2 other Titans in the relatively small parking lot!! Mine used to be the only one so the word is spreading! Still love it!
