Hello All,

I installed 295 Duratracks on my truck a couple weeks after 1 purchased it. I do get occasional rubbing on the mudflaps so I was thinking of a small lift kit, I do want to keep the stock rake.

Any issues on a 2017 Pro4X, if I keep it small, and new rear shocks needed?

1. 1.5" front / 1.5" block rear
2. 1.5" front / 1" rear block
3. 2" front / 2" rear block
4. 2" front / 1.5" add a leaf rear *** my favorite ****

thoughts?

Thanks

If you go any higher than 1" in the rear you need new shocks. The suspension is the same for gen1 and gen2 non-XD's, and I needed 2" in the front to level my 2008 Pro4x. Easiest way to see what you need is just measure fender heights front and back, subtract difference.

I currently have a 1" block in the rear with Bilstein 5100's and haven't had any issues.

The guys at NissTech.com said that they have seen no issues with 2" front / 1.5" rear, including the 2017 Pro4X. I guess for 200$, I can try it and see how it goes.

I went with a Pro Comp 2.5" level up front and 1" block in back. According to the tape measure it's perfectly level.

I actually got the kit for $690 including the camber bolts and shipping from xterraperformance.com

The installation and alignment was $520.

For a truck with a $52k price tag, I thought $1200 wasn't too crazy to get it done correctly.

Just curious... did you get camber bolts installed and an alignment after you installed the spacers?

I was wondering the same thing, checked last night, and mine do not look like cam bolts. Even with 1.5" lift I will prob. order some Moog cam bolts so they can get a solid alignment.

UPDATE:
******************

Got the PRG kit in yesterday and installed it today, after a 3am Turkey hunt, not the best plan :)

Advertised: 1.5" Front / 1" rear

Observed gain: 1.75" front / 1.125" rear

I'm pretty sure that after the suspension settles a little bit it will be at 1.5 & 1.

In my opinon, this is the best option for a Pro4X until your a ready for a full 6" lift. My 33s fit a little better, but not a large enough lift to worry about UCAs, longer rear shocks etc...

Bonus: I noticed an axle bearing leak that will need to be fixed by the dealer :(

No offence to some people with the tranny issues which is basically everyone but I think some people don't see it as drastic as others take it.. I have it and guess what I press the throttle more and the truck moves and I get over it cause I know there will be a fix out. Yet I don't expect it to be released as soon as the truck comes out.

If I recall this is the 7 speed's second year out as it was debuted in the '16 XD gas. First year is understandable but second year its like get with the program guys. No excuses why this should still be having problems. BTW its completely unsafe to have the only remedy of slamming on the gas just for it to downshift properly. I've already had several close call accidents just because of this. And no offense taken :)

I'd like to stick on topic (it's another thread for that topic).
I just talked to a "suspension expert" in my area. He seemed to think you wouldn't need the UCA with a 1.5" leveling kit . So sounds like Greg's kit might be the cheaper and easier way if your not going any higher.

did Nissan change the coil bucket mounting location?? if suspension is same as 1st gen i don't see how 2" kits won't result in CBC on pro4x's and 4x4's.

I drove a pro4x last night for the first time, holy sh1t balls these new half tons are nice lol.

Hey there, first time registering on TT, but have been following and reading the threads for a few years now. Recently traded in a 2014 sv for a 2017 pro4x (non XD) and I a removed the 1.5 procomp leveling spacer and 1 inch blocks to reinstall on the new truck. Anyone know for certain if these spacers will work on the 2017 pro4x ? If so, will I have any other issues such as the infamous CBC, alignment, sway bar end links or anything else? I appreciate any info....

The PRG kit I installed had no issues with contact or needs for extended end-links, etc... this is why I stuck to the 1.5 front / 1" rear. I wouldn't be surprised if your first gen fit fine, you could prob. just ask Greg.

It's been about 4 months and no issues so far :) No tranny issues for me either FYI.

This is my first post on the forum as I have only had my 17 Pro-4X for 2 weeks and some change. I have really enjoyed reading through these forums, especially about the leveling options available for this truck. That being said, I will get to the point and throw some questions out there for clarification:

1.) Nisstech offers a 2inch front level x 1inch block rear kit with either a UCA or without. Both claim no coil boot contact. If that is the case, why on Earth would ANYONE spend $540 extra for a UCA? What am I missing?

2.) I also saw an earlier post in this thread talking about Pro Comps 2.5inch leveling kit.....I have been all over their website and cannot find the thing. Is there a link I am not seeing?

3.) Lastly, for those who went with PRGs 1.5inch level, how is the ride quality? For those who went with Nisstechs 2inch level (with or without the UCA), same question. For all of thee above, would you have chosen anything different now (hindsight being 20/20 of course)?

Thanks everyone and look forward to brainstorming with you all!

After doing more research I think I have found what I am looking for. Rough Country has JUST released a 3inch lift kit for the 2017 Nissan Titan and fits ALL 4wd models. The images they have on the website even show the kit on the Pro-4X model which is great! The BEST part however is its CHEAP! $399 without new shocks, $599 with new shocks! I will post the link for those looking for another option besides PRG and Nisstech. I dont see any reason NOT to get this kit unless someone can point out a potential issue.

Yeah that's imo junk. Endlinks are garbage. No camber bolts. And btw you have to grind your coil bucket down. Per the instructions.. cause their UCA can't handle that much lift..
