Alright guys this is my first "write up" on titantalk on how to do a complete install of 3x3 LED pods! thats right after you read this you will be able to buy some pods and install them yourself ! why pay your hard earned money to some guy at a shop when you can do it yourself !!!!
Parts: Fortunately the pods come with all of the mounting hardware you will need except for 4 washers that you can get from lowes. in the pic are the part #'s

Mounting: now that you have the washers here is where one goes
put the light in the fog light spot
and add the other washer in the back along with the lock washer and the nut
After you tighten everything up make sure the beam is in the desired location.

Wiring to a toggle switch: wiring up a toggle switch is a MUST cause these lights are bright !! Here i have just a simple wire diagram to a switch
pretty strait forward. This is the wire a ran for my switch and pods.

why on gods green earth did you run the wires through the door jam and instead of an open grommet under the hood through the firewall? was it just to save time? or you didnt feel like doing it... some things the people do on here have me scratching my head and asking "why on earth would someone do that"... but thats just me... just sayin'

Great write up evil-titan. I have one question, why did you not just wire it into your stock fog light switch or is that even possible?

Makes total sense. I just wanted to make sure I was not missing anything. I want to do this after I retrofit my headlights. Once that comes you will probably hear from me weekly. haha

I have a 20“ bar in lower grille, too bright for roads and oncoming traffic. I use it off road and long night rides with no traffic

Thanks for inspiring me Evil. I now have room for my 20" led bar that's coming this week. I wired mine up using the existing fog light wiring and a 9006 female extension. I wasn't sure on which washer to use but ended up using the smaller one up front and the larger in the back. Seems to work perfect on my 2014.

Thanks for all the Info Guys!!! Just ordered up some white (marine) Rigid Pods a few days ago to replace my yellow and cracked (HID converted) fogs. Not complaining though, they lasted well over 150k miles and almost 9 years.... But I am excited to get the new pods installed.

They will be a nice addition to my recently added 42" LED roof bar...

rigids, and you got the marine ones? holy crap i wish i had that budget for fog lights.

domination lighting has awesome pods using CREE leds, he also can paint them a few different colors.

As much as I like this mod, and my friend has enjoyed his lights, the radio interference from the LEDs bugs me. I installed some round LED lights in the fogs in my Denali and I get no interference with those. Has anyone else had trouble with radio interference, and is there a fix?

You think 4" round lights would fit?

ive been running almost led everything and have never had radio interference. what did you wire it up to? just the battery and a toggle switch or some fuse in the fuse box and a toggle ?
