Detroit Axle Run Around

I ordered a refurb rack and pinion from Detroit Axle on November 29. The website sent me an email stating that the part was shipped. I went to the FEDEX tracking site and found that only a label was created. When that status didn't change for a few days, I contacted Detroit Axle. I was told that the wrong warehouse was alerted and that the correct warehouse now had the order. This was supposed to get the rack sent out. The status is STILL only label created. The online chat rarely works on the DA site. Anyone else having problems with DA? Should I cancel the order and go with Rock Auto or other source?

I'd cancel and go to RA. Get a Cardone or other known brand with a good warranty and be done with it.

I still think this is the best option for only having to do this onerous job once.

The rack was sent under a different tracking number. It arrived yesterday. The packaging was totally inadequate. One of the high pressure hoses was crushed. It was also missing one of the brackets and the nuts for the inner tie rods. Not impressed with Detroit Axle.
