I don't have them, but I'm same height as Sammy, 6'2". Don't have a need for them. I can see how they might also decrease the amount of ground clearance. If you get high-centered on the step rails, that's probably not a good thing.
I have been told that step rails have caused exterior damage to other makes of trucks where the vehicle would not have normally been damaged without having them installed.
I think in these instances, the vehicle would have only MAYBE scraped the bottom of the frame rails, but because of the lower ground clearance over small variances in terrain or upon summiting a small hill, the rails were pushed up into the bottoms of the doors/bed sides and caused body damage.
Please note, this is hearsay from several 'buddies' and I have never had step rails on a pickup so if this is impossible to happen on a Titan, then disragard.
I see a bunch of used sets on Ebay. Does that mean all the tall people are getting rid of their step rails?
