Fog lights not working

I've had LED bulbs in the stock sockets for about two years. Both fog lights stopped working. I am thinking the relay went because the indicator on the dashboards still lights up when you hit the switch. I have two questions:
1- where the hell is the relay?
2- is there something else I should have done to protect the system beyond just plugging in an led bulb into the stock socket?

can you put a multimeter in the socket and see if its not getting power? maybe the leds just went out, oddly, at the same time?

At least it's an easy test. Rule out the simple answers first!

Fuses are good?

You could directly apply 12v to each bulb and see if you get any output. Or buy some cheap replacement bulbs to confirm or deny it is the LED bulbs.

Beyond that, look at the covers for all your fuses and relays. My guess is they're both under the hood in one of the black boxes, but the fuse could be in the cab somewhere.
