You may want to hold up a few more weeks...I know a company that has one already in the works....If you look on CT their is pictures of it just look for 90mm TB. I have already asked him about setting up a GB and he is interested

 

What company is it? It can't be any better than Accufab. They make the best TB's on the market. This may work out to a GB if there is enough serious interest. Keep them coming!!

 

So Relentless is trying to make one eh? I'd much rather have one made by a company that specializes in throttle bodies, no offense to Relentless. BTW, the pics, there aren't anymore....lol.

 

None Taken!! Sorry the pics were just a sneak peak. Competition is good, and I'm ok seeing someone else try this project. The real answer will be when we see each one perform. We have a dyno and tuners on site with unlimited Titans to test on. I cant post up details here, until we get sponsorship on the site...and I'm working on that LOL. Good luck with the project. I'm also interested in seeing if the Titan community will support a person that has been working hard on coming up with mods for there trucks or, go with a company that wants to jump on the money wagon, and has shown no interest in Titans before. Just my opinion though.

 

At $400 i would scoop one up when it came on the market!

I just got through forwarding some very good pics of our TB from my truck and should hear something back from the head honcho on Monday. We need this dude badly!!

 

It depends on what the TB does. If it is simply a bored out unit that adds 10-15hp, I wouldn't have much interest.

A bump in peak hp doesn't do much for me.

If the TB is a unit like the PGM that significantly improves low end response, I'd be all over it and willing to pay whatever the cost.

 

It will not be a ported oe unit. It will be a new one, made from scratch.

If any company makes one everyone would probably jump on it since people have been wanting one for quite some time. I will only go with a proven TB than something a company never tested and shown results with.

 

What about the TB off the 5.0 v8 in the FX50s that things makes 400hp NA. ANy part swapping between the 5.0 and 5.6?

Didn't BBK and stillen try to make a throttle body already? We waited for years for them with nothing...Relentlessnismo is almost done with the throttle body and it has uprev pro tunners in house...Relenttless throttle bodies will be tunned for our trucks...We will know how much HP they will gain..No BULL from a big company just making claims...Plenty of titan members have used this facility and rave about it their results..

We do know why BBK never produced a TB!

I posted BBK's E mail reply just a couple months ago. It was an arrogant statement that as long as the Big 3 continued to dominate the market, the completion of the Titan TB would be on the back burner! Then, the Big 3 reported record losses, and BBK announced they would introduce Headers for the Titan! All within a few weeks of my posting. As I stated then, I will not touch a BBK TB. They made empty promises too many times. They can go broke for all I care. I looked for them to introduce a TB for almost 2 years, and wrote them many times. They always said it was coming in just a few more months. BBK=Liars. Case closed. Hmmmph.

 

Very interested in one of these. If the TBs offered similar gains, I'd support Relentless as well.

 

I will take one, especially if it increased power and MPG significantly.

But, I am curious if the OEM ECM is capable of handling the new TB performance characteristics.

Or, Is there a variable within Consult II has that an adjustable parameters to make the TB do what it is designed to do?

 

The Mass Air Flow Meter should handle all of that for you.

 

I'm deffinately waiting on the tb. I've heard about the relentless for a while now. Not sure about accufab, but if the price and performance are right, I might go that way. When it comes to the titan mods, I'm not that brand loyal.

 

I'm in for a TB, been waiting on stillen/BBK, now I've been waiting on Relentless... so really I'm just waiting on ANY and all at this point lol. seems the electronics are too tricky that u need to know 46 different languages or the fricken Wookies did it or something and no one understands Chewy for shet LOL
