2006 titan flex fuel crew cab 4x4 short bed. I think its the big tow option. Have tow mode and tow mirrors so im assuming that. What i got running 285s no lift

Ok my truck went 15.5 in the 1/4 on flex fuel was stock with exception of magnaflow muffler.

I have since then added some jba long tube ceramic coated headers. Noticed a slight difference but ive only had 87 in it. Its cold so i cant really test it out.

EXHAUST
I plan on building a "true dual" 2.5" exhaust straight pipe but will be routed to a dual in dual out borla muffler. Probably a xr1 maybe.

INTAKE
Im having trouble on intake choice. I want daily driver but great performance.

yes i plan on going up rev. I hear it over and over and seen time slips. Cant wait.
Im also wanting more info on uprev like what exactly i can do with it.

I would eventually like to get a tru trac and shift kit. What else could i so to strengthen up for launching?

So which brings me to what is possible after all the ideas above are on what will i run on e85 or 93 octane

Stay away from true duals the yipe into single 3" exhaust is the proven ticket on these trucks. If your set on duals do not go over 2.25" pipe or you will loose your low end torque slowing you down even more. If you have not Uprev tuned you are not getting the most out of the headers and exhaust. 13 sec Titans are easily obtained with headers and Uprev. Check out my website for the best performance exhaust and Uprev tuning. Cajun Bpipes | shreveport, LA 71129

Okay so if I did the y pipe into the single 3 inch that's obviously the proven ticket you say now what if I did do dual after the muffler

What exactly can I do with UpRev and do you have any idea that works hand in hand with all the supporting mods for cold air intake I keep reading that a lot of people lose mile per gallons with airaids mxp.

I would get uprev, some catless cajun bpipes, and the cajun catback with a borla muffler. I always run premium but my truck isn't flex fuel. It was hard for me to notice any gains from my CAI, also the older model titans have slightly different intake manifolds yielding less horsepower than 08+ titans. Peakspeedshop has some packages for that. Cams, traction bars , shift kit, external transmission cooler, solid aluminum radiator, shocks, struts, synthetic fluids everywhere......and the list goes on lol

Also you said 13 second Titans are easily obtained is that with just bolt ons and tune or is that with a little extra help from nitrous or anything like that I'd prefer to stay away from big power adders for reasons of being a daily driver but I also do a lot of towing ranging from 5000 pounds to 8000 pounds total weight so low end torque my best friend

There are several guys running in the 13 sec and a few in the 12 sec 1/4mile range with their daily driver Titans. Cajun can Uprev tune you as well and Uprev is the only custom tune you can do and highly recommended with header installs for performance as well as engine safety reasons. Email Joe cajuntuning@gmail.com and he will get you lined out on all Uprev questions. The AirRaid MXP is the top dog for cai options and I like the S&B also. Check out my website and give me a call if you like, we can get you faster guaranteed.

Just call jeff at cajun bpipes and follow his instructions. Your truck will have a night and day performance gain.

As far as intake, I have/like the Airaid MXP as well. I didn't notice a huge butt dyno increase from it, and I have no hard numbers from before/after...but it sounds absolutely killer. That thing howls when you get on it. The piping/filter is also massive compared to stock. I honestly can't imagine it *not* at least offering some gains, more in conjunction with other exhaust mods than by itself of course. The T definitely breathes more freely with it, at the very least.

Either would be good. I've got a AEM brute force that I love. Tons of power and sounds amazing! If I was you I would get my exact setup; It is the best sounding, highest gain per $$$ bolt on setup for the titan. Heres what I would do:
JBA LT headers
Cajun catback system with resonated B-pipes
Borla XR-1
Uprev
Jim Wolf Technologies cams (later down the road if you want)

I've got this setup and my truck FLIES with 3.73s and 35" mud tires. I'm a 2011 pro-4x CC flex fuel so we are the same truck mechanically. If you dont want any drone, also add an ultraquiet resi from cajun. It will make it a little more tame sounding but there will be no drone. IMO the best setup for the titan, but to each his own. Thats my 2 cents at least haha.:blueblob:

Yes they are the top two choices, I went with Airaid because I got one used on here for a good price. Didn't lose any MPG, butt dyno feels a little increase but could all just be in my head. It is very tame under normal driving but sounds amazing at WOT. A lot of people claimed vibrations after install but follow the instructions and you'll be fine, I have no rattles personally.

To get into the 13s u need a very capable tuner and some weight shed, at 5200 lbs and joe tuning I never hit 13s, cc 4x4, cams exhaust etc etc, it's not as easy as people say it is, nick is low 13s with exhaust cai and uprev, not sure of what else is done, but he is also a ext cab, be realistic it's takes a lot to gt into 13s na, a good track, good tuner and the right upgrades.

I'm knocking on the door with 14.10 and tire spin full street trim. No doubt with a better DA than Louisiana air I would be there now.

Longtubes and 2.5 into 3" exhaust, tune and and good CAI should get you there. See my sig...

Good DA helps a ton. Also I'm a KC so a little bit lighter. Nightowl would be in the 13s if he was a king cab.

I'll give a few tips that I learned from others that I found helpful.

Practice your launches. A good 60' time determines your whole pass. Find that sweet spot where you're giving it the most you can without spinning. For me, it's about 75% throttle til about 25 then I mash it. On a well prepped track however, sometimes you can really hook up.

Go around the water box. Do a quick little wheel spin before you pull up, but don't sit there and do a burn out. You want your tires warm but not hot. Plus with an open diff, you'll only look like a doofus doing a one wheel peel. Hot street tires are usually slippery. Drag radials and slicks are different.

Once you're staged, hold the brake and bring the revs up to about 1000-1200. Any more and the ECU cuts timing. Leave once the last yellow goes out. By the time you react it'll be green.

I haven't been out there in forever, I'm more concerned with keeping the truck running these days lol.

7 years ago I would saying running 13s in a titan was chore. These days its very easy with basic mods in ****ty weather. I have watched a titan on STOCK manifolds run 13s in +1000 DAs. I ran 13.2s with bolt on's and a tune in the same weather at around 5500lbs at the time. ITS VERY EASY. pm me for more info If you would like.

lol u haven't talked to my builder because u have no idea who built the engine, ma motorsports sourced the build, I picked the parts to go in it dumb dumb and if it wasn't for the lawsuit I would have built it but that has nothing to do with the subject at hand, u haven't done **** with urs but out gas in it but u probably pay someone to do that too, ur a ****in bum. just like ur bull**** 11s, enjoy trolling u tool
