they just released a 9 in. also, I got a quote from one guy for around $650 install with a dvd player and tv tuner.
Wow... That's a great price. I've been looking around for one that goes into the drop down and all of the stores, Circuit City, Best Buy all quoted around $1,400.00 installed. Dumb question...Do you know if this fits into the factory drop down in the back of the Crew Cabs?

Yes, these are made to replace the dropdown bin. Just remove the bin and replace with these unit.

Myron & Davis installed

I have the Myron & Davis 7.8" drop down monitor. Fit and finish is awesome and the picture is great also. I bought the monitor, DVD player, RF modulator, and two sets of wireless headphones from Truck Outfitters for $650. I then paid $250 for installation, including custom mounting in the glove box. It has been worth every penny. Heres a couple pics:

Looks good. But im sure they could of did a more compact installation of the DVD player. The glove box is huge, no reason it should it all up.

Yeah, its wide but its only deep enough right in the middle. Mounting it anywhere else would make it stick up too far and the box wouldn't close.

The glove box was the only place it could be mounted and still be accessed safely by the passenger. The driver can also get to it without having to get out of the vehicle, also (of course I pull over before loading and unloading movies). I don't like mounting electronics under the seat because they get kicked, very dusty and dirty, and risk getting wet by spills and leaks. For me and with my seating configuration the glove box was by far the best option.

Very nice! That's exactly where I want to put it, too-that last compartment. I wanted to stay away from the headrest screens since I only have the KC and I didn't think there was enough space between the headrest and the people's faces in the back, lol.

myron davis 9" is $750 bucks + install..........no great deal here
I got mine for $600. There's a guy on eBay that sells Myron & Davis stuff. I emailed him and he told me $650 shipped from FL to CA. I went to my local M&D authorized dealer and they matched the price.
