high idle after intake install

I know our engines idle a little fast when there cold, but mine sometimes behaves this way when it warm and I've only noticed it since installing the intake. is this normal? it isn't all the time either.
it makes it a little harder to stop, and idles at 10mph with my foot off the gas.

if it's not normal how can I fix?

I don't have leaks in the lines that go into the intake tube vaccum lines i think.

I don't know how to fix it , but f it makes you feel better my 04' with a K&N intakes idles a bit high as well. I can probably do almost 15mph while idling!

The two rubber hoses going into the intake tube are PCV lines. They shoudn't have anything to do with your idle problem. You need to check all other tube connections and especially the MAF sensor. Make sure you don't have something stuck on the MAF sensor and that it is sealed properly. If all that checks out ok, you need to do an idle/air vol learn and probably a throttle position relearn. They can be done manually, and there are postings here somewhere on how to do it.

also if you have some oxygen in a tank(torches). turn the O2 on and while at idle run the oxygen over any vacuum lines and the CAI you installed. Especially around any pieces that bolt together. If there are any leaks, when you pass over it with the oxygen the idle will pick up few hundred RPMS. Good luck.
