The range on mine SUCKS!!!! My Maxima can open the door from around the block. The one in the titan I have to be right up on the door. if I back into my driveway the only way I can open the door is to move my mirror around and press the button. Are all the homelinks like this?

I also have a good range. I'll put it this way. For the three gates I have programmed (work, apt complex, garage) the door is open before I get the truck there.

My HomeLink works perfectly, but one observation I have made, is that compared to my regular opener, the HomeLink button must be held for 1 full second, whereby I could just touch my regular opener.

This is was not adequately explained in the programming instructions that I had. The instructions say to "press" a particular button rather than "hold" a particular button down for one second. When I figured this out, I was able to program the Homelink easily.

I'll try it again with that in mind. Coach junior did most of the "trying" so I don't recall every step. We'll have to try again, thanks for the info.

Mine works very well ....I have two solar electric gates on my mountain driveway......I do have to hold it a little longer than the actual remotes that came with my openers...about 1 second....but other than that..no problemo!!!! I'm glad it is there.

Same here, mine works great. Like Tom mentioned, you do seem to have to hold the button in a second or two. Programming it was a bit of a pain, I have a rolling security code and the instructions in the Titan owner's manual sucked.

Mine works very well. I have to door open before I get to the house.....about 2 houses down and we all have about 4 acres so, that's a good distance. Try reprogramming yours then maybe a trip to Nissan. Good luck.

My door openers are Chamberlains. I installed 'em this summer along with new steel doors. Used the Nissan Card to set up two of the three mirror buttons - one for each door. Did this in both Titans. No problems.

Garage function works well.....but

I'm a little dissapointed my home security system wont work. I have a wireless remote to arm/disarm and the frequencies are very different.
Oh well. Maybe next time.

I got good range, have never really tried it down the street but at least 4-5 house down it still work. Will try tonight from down the street.

Also I read on the net awhile back that lots of military base are using somekind of signal thing that affect garage door openers. You live by a military base? :gunz:
