I don't think I will make El Mirage, because on Sunday we have reservation for "Easter Break" at the beach for a week ...

Oh and I got my sticker too, but its just an address label, I was expecting a metallic one. HA!

Yup, that's it... a laminated sticker... I called JBA (PerTronix) and spoke to Dustin, who happened to say that he has been getting a bunch of Titan owners calling in for these CARB stickers too...

so, if you haven't requested a CARB sticker yet, and require one... Just take a picture of the driver's side header, with the JBA plate, then email it with your mailing info, vehicle make/model, JBA header model, etc... to jba@pertronix.com and they'll send you a sticker...

Hey Rob, you said your truck is actually quieter? I have a cracked manifold again, and Nissan isnt helping me this time. So I have to spend the money on new ones, I would obviously prefer to buy headers instead, But Mama thinks it will sound like all the "white trash trucks with headers" that shes heard in the past. she's pregnant and hard to argue with:bangit: What exhaust setup do you have? I have a Flowmaster and just installed the new Spectre CAI, so the truck is already louder now with the intake. She doesnt want the truck any louder. can you help me? haha

I don't think just having the JBA headers installed will cause your exhaust to get much louder, if any, as long as you keep the Primary Cats and OE B Pipes... If your OE Cats on the cracked manifolds are still in good shape, just have them cut off and welded to the JBA collectors, then reinstall your OE B Pipes... then to tone down the exhaust, eliminate the FM muffler and install a Magnaflow... I think the MF maintains a smooth tone until you open it up, then it might be "too loud" for momma...
I'm about to redo my exhaust from the collectors back, with an OEM Primary Cat through B Pipe setup for Smog purposes, and have another straight through 2.5" non-cat setup made for performance with UpRev tune... I also am done with my FM muffler, so in the revamp of the rest of my exhaust, I plan to do either a H or X piped dual exhaust system w/ some resonators and other mufflers, not yet determined...

My exhaust got louder with the jba's. I kept stock cats and have eom b pipes with cats still. I will say it got quieter In the cab, with less drone, but louder outside. Hopefully rob will shed light on his whispering exhaust :)

Well my headers are working great. Got them installed last friday and have been smiling all weekend. Next mod is new exhaust and UPREV. But after listening to a cracked exhaust manifold for the past year and a half, it is quieter. Quieter in the fact that I don't have a ticking noise driving me bats**t crazy LOL. But the exhaust sounds much smoother and more performance car sounding. Currently I have just a 14" Magnaflow welded to the stock exhaust so it'll probably get louder once I build my new exhaust. But when I roll those windows down (especially the rear one) The exhuast note is freaking sweet. Much better than when I had the stock manifolds (pre-crack). All in all I was am pleased, now just need the sticker :teeth:.

Final cost for me:
$370 for headers (including tax)
$625 for install (including tax)

So $995 for everything. Much better than going through the local stealership (they wanted $2800 for two manifolds and installation:huh:)

I think he added some OEM cats to that install. If you take the cats out then the price is good.. :)

Did you also do the Throttle Position Learn Procedure as well? If not, try it for the time being... otherwise, Go to the UpRev site and it should list the available tuners in your area...
