Leveled 2021 Pro-4X Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW) problems

I have a 2021 Titan Pro-4x. I put a 1.5 inch Bilstein leveling kit on it and it looks great and I chose it because it would not negate my warranty. I have been getting the I-FCW caution light regularly since I had the leveling kit put on. I have brought it back to Nissan multiple times and they claim there is nothing they can do because the sensor is only made for the stock truck. I am pretty sure this is BS but I wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue. I have searched through the posts and I do not see anything.

I only offer advice off of personal experience and I have personally lifted a few 2021 Titans more than 1.5" and there were no issues with any sensors whatsoever.

Maybe you have a loose connection and they just never looked and blamed it in the kit.

See if the okygs are loose to the sensors or if there is dirt on the sensors

You should try a different dealer with a different story. Instead of saying it started after you installed the spacers, go with the story of, “a few weeks ago I noticed it coming on a lot more.” Let them figure it out. Electronics in any modern vehicle glitch.

Just my experience with my 21 Titan. I’ve had my 1.5 leveling kit on for approximately a year. I had I-FCW light come on a couple of times, but would turn off. I believe the manual states that some environmental situations ie fog, excessive dust, dusk conditions could trip the sensors. But my truck has been good to go. My dealership also sells lifted Titans and service department is knowledgeable concerning lifting a Titan. Hope this helps.

When you mention certain things to a dealer you’re kind of feeding them something and they latch on to it. Logically what you did is insignificant to how the system should view the truck. I have zero alterations to my 2020 truck suspension wise and neither did my 2018 and both on occasion went/go stupid with that dash light. It stops just like it starts and nobody has a clue why. My truck has a squeal on start ups after it rains, it’s either the idler pulley or the belt tensioner but they make up a story as to why and fix nothing. I asked service if it’s an official Nissan position or did he just pull it out of his as$. Remember the service writer knows nothing about a car or he’d be working in the service bays.
