Motor Pull question

Alright what’s up y’all, I’m currently in the middle of a motor swap in a 06 titan, and I’m getting ready to pull the original motor out soon, what I’m looking to figure out is where everyone is using for lift points, with this being a work project I’m just trying to make sure I use a strong enough point so that nothing gets damaged in the process as I still have to pull a few parts off to swap to the new engine. Thanks!

Your best bet would be to use two of the bellhousing bolt holes on the rear and two of the accessory mount holes on the front, with chains and a chain leveler. Pretty standard stuff and putting the bolt/chain mount in shear is the wise choice with aluminum, as putting it in tension will invariably damage a set of threads somewhere.

The method I mentioned above is motor without trans or bellhousing. Use two of the bolt holes in the back of the block where the bellhousing would bolt up. That's what I mean by bellhousing bolt holes.
