just picked up a set of factory leather power/heated seats. i have 2005 se with the power driver and manuel passenger seat. the driver seat harness is quite abit different from the factory one and i have no clue where to start. the passenger seat only has two wires, a ground and a power but not sure where to hook it up to. im not worried as much about the heat but i need to adjust them. i have searched but couldnt find a finished thread. any help would be appreciated as im not too good with the electrical stuff.. thanks again

I wish i could be more help as my leather seats are currently out of my 04 LE that came stock with dual power seats. The Passenger seat should be pretty easy because its just the power and ground but the driver seat has the added function of memory seating position for 2 drivers. Chances are, there is a power and a ground in that harness that would just need to be hooked up like you did on the passenger seat.

Generally speaking, red means power and black means ground but who knows with Nissan.. Take some pictures of your OEM harness and ill check mine out when i go see my truck on Friday. I may be able to help you out since i have a truck that those seats would have originally come in.

Please do. I also have a set of LE leather seats in my truck now, I installed them about a month ago and I need to figure out this wiring situation. There is a guy on here that did it and did a very brief write-up on it but its all in a one post/long winded paragraph, making it hard to follow. I'll probably start this project here in the next couple of weeks. Luckily, when I got the seats they were set in a position that wasn't uncomfortable for me. It seems the previous owner was the same height as me so that's good. If not though I'm no strange to wiring schematics and I''ll more than likely have to figure it out myself.
