I've got a smack talking Ram on my hands. Its a 2006 Quad Cab Srt10. Looking for help in getting my 04 4x4 Crew Cab to a 13.7 quarter mile. I need a plan! What list of parts would it take and what price range? I can do the work myself. I don't have too many mods so far i'm on my second Titan so i'm starting from scratch. Current mods: Injen powerflow, True Trac, and superchips cortex.

1/4 mile times aren't everything. You can always reply with the style and reliability of your truck vs another un-original Ram.

I think you could bolt on and tune your way close to that mark, but it will cost you. Even if you run head to head you can always say it took the Ram 2 extra cylinders to do it.

Dont forget drag radials with the true track and with the mods above and some weight reduction that Titan will be a mid 13sec ride. Might want to switch to a MXP intake also.

Keep the VK56 all motor, it was designed that way for a purpose. All bolt ons and cams then a stall, u should have a pretty sick ride.

Don't forget to add a transcooler.

A lot of us have similar if not same mods in our sigs for a reason lol. They are proven and will make the titan a whole new animal.

JBA headers, catless cajun B pipes and cajun merge kit plus uprev is great for starters, oh and the airaid MXP or ur own 4" homemade intake with ram air mod.

I've beaten the quad cabs with my truck twice. First time I even had my 24s on. My mods are nothing crazy. The srt10 I beat with my stock wheels was modded too. They are some gorgeous trucks.

Thanks for your input everyone. Couple things. I imagine jwahar cams will se me back right around 2500 right? I heard its really easy to f your Titan up in that install. Also I hear everyone recommending this intake, is it better than the injen? And where should I start reducing weight. On my last one it was mainly the seats, spare, and tailgate. But with the true Trac holy S&*# would it be everywhere on the road. Would traction bars help for traction?? I know they're usually for wheel hop but this isn't the case

Depends on who installs the cams. With those you will want to get UpRev as well.

The Airaid MXP 4" intake is good for 7-10hp over other aftermarket intakes on tuned trucks.

Long Tube Headers, custom exhaust system, UpRev tuning, cams, trutrac, good tires - youll be cooking him. (Let me know if I can price out any of these parts for you - Chas@tapautoparts.com)

IMO just drag radials or slicks alone will knock a 1/2 sec off a 1/4 time......if youre 4x4 forget the tires and race in 4wd

2007 Intake Manifold Mod - Nissan Titan Forum: Club Titan Forums

I bet a SRT10 QC with a 80shot, original banks exhaust and volant G1 intake as only mods. as in the video TA CC posted if your quick off the tree and you hook you can get him. Thats how I beat the one I raced in cold weather. He did run a quicker ET and faster mph but I treed .06 and he had .600

post #25 has a link to the 07 intake manifold information that was originally done. In nut shell FLOWs better than gen1 intake manifold and aides in performance after cams.
