I have just purchased my first Titan almost three months ago and was dealt a crushing blow last weekend. The pizza man backed into my truck and ran off! I was crushed to say the least. The insurance estimated the damage at over $2,300. I just had to vent a little bit with other Titan owners who could sympathize.

:soap:

Sorry to hear that. I would be crushed too. Hope you get it fixed up like new soon.

That was pretty stupid on the part of the pizza delivery man. Did he think that you guys wouldn't be able to track him down?

That's no good at all. I hope you didn't tip him.:bouncy:

So, did you track him down at his place of employment?:bang: :bang:

Demand a new truck from the restaurant.

well, first off... that's one he!! of an expensive pizza... but on the serious side, I'd go down to the pizza place with a digital camera, tell the manager what happened, wait for the delivery person to arrive, and take several pictures of the comparable damage to the delivery car, get the contact information for that idiot and insurance info for both the vehicle and pizza business, forward all those to your insurance company... worst case scenerio, once you get down there and the pizza people do not want to cooperate, call your local law enforcement and have them respond to do a hit and run traffic collision investigation, and demand a citizen's arrest of the driver...

i'm pretty sure that the business(insurance) wouldn't be able to cover damages caused by a driver. probably all the manager/owner can do is apologize for the idiot driver and let the driver's insurance handle it since it only involved the driver's car and wasn't the pizzeria's fault. in fact, delivery drivers pay higher rates for insurance because their job involves them driving constantly. so you have to deal with that kid or his parents' insurance directly.
i know this cause my dad owns a pizzeria himself.
