Is it a fun thread or coarse thread?

 

I think the 1.25 is the type of thread, not sure if it’s fine or not.

 

1.25 is a thread pitch, how many millimeters is it thick?

Metric bolts come in Coarse, Fine, and Extra Fine. M8 bolts, specifically, are most commonly offered in:

M8x1.25 (Coarse)
and
M8x1.00 (Fine)

 

That’s why I said it’s determined by the thickness and pitch and length. Coarse fine extra fine is not relevant.

Sorry I didnt know the bolt sizes but just as a FYI when I put my boards on I put some anti seize on the threads just in case I wanted to remove them in the future, for easier removal. Enjoy!

 

Smart move, most likely they’ll never need to come off but you know they can if need be.
