Maybe this can be the one thread that is focused on the Off Road stuff for those of us who are allergic to a steady diet of asphault....and stop signs, red lights, law enforcement, speed limits...and all those 'rules'...

For whatever you got...pics, videos, questions, answers, lessons learned...
ORV parks, places to go that your not supposed to :), ORV mods and gear specific for the off road, events, tires, whatever...there's all types of off road driving but it all feels the same when you go into 4lo and hear that front diff lock... :teethmast

Anyone find a good place to mount a fire extinguisher in a KC? No room between the driver seat and door and my current 'rolling around under the back seat' is not a permanent solution...

I removed the lower handle and made a mounting bracket out of flat bar and just put some synthetic spacers in so that it wasn't rubbing against the pillar

Its just a small ABC fire extinguisher but I also dont plan on using it but you never know

--Another idea would be to remove the 2 grocery bag holders from the bottom of the rear passenger seat behind the driver and make something that it would mount it there, no one ever sits there in my truck because there really isn't room so that seat is always folded up

yeah i thought of that but i like to be able to see it to make sure its charged, one of the beaches i go to rangers have been known to check...decided to fab a box for under the back seat and cut it short to throw a 1lb'er on the side, funny they dont reg the size or type but it better be charged if they check...
