they do make power folding non tow mirrors that were available stock. getting someone to trade you might be tought is yours are manual mirrors. you can look on facebutt marketplace though as someone is usually always selling some for a decent price.

For the Gen 1 Rockauto has good deals on side mirrors.

 

You likely don't have the powerful wiring, so that will be a nuisance, at best, to implement.

 

I thought he just wanted to swap mirrors. If your looking for power/folding mirrors unless your ipdm and truck is wired for that option it's not going to happen without lots of upgrading.

 

I have a set of the chrome non-folding mirrors that I'd be willing to trade for your tow mirrors. Mine are power, with the heating element, what features do yours have? Where are you located?

 

Easy to find and easy to swap. I did exactly that. I found quickly I wasn’t a fan of the blind spot the tows created, especially at night on a highway.

 

Been there done that. After I broke my passenger side tow mirror a couple of times I replaced them with the regular size. Had it five years and still haven’t towed with it yet.

 

i hardly tow with mine but i love how much area the tow mirrors cover for rear view

 

You could just fold the tow mirrors in when needed. A minor inconvenience. And cheaper too.

 

Not when you’re going in and out of the garage several times a day Also, the mirror is needed to make sure you don’t run the right side of your truck into the garage.

 

But he wants folding mirrors so scraping the sides aren't an issue evidently.
