what do you think of my roof lights and light bar?

I photo-chopped a couple of pictures to show what I am thinking of making. What do you think? My brother in law has a shop that can fabricate almost anything, including plastics. The lights on the roof will be for off-roading and the rear roll bar looking thing can hold more lights.

I want to use a really hard plastic, with a rough texture and have them molded in black.

If anyone wants a set, just let me know. After I make the first one, I can use all the molds to make more.

I think those lights are pretty sweet looking too, but not too fond of the rear roll bar. The lights on top are very clean looking though...especially if they were painted to match your truck.

I like both of your ideas! I've been looking for something like that. It would be nice if the roll bar thing was alittle bit thicker and had more of a sportier slant, JMHO. Keep up the good work.

What do you think?

I like the roof lights.:futwice: Count me in on the group buy.... :)

The rear roll bar style you show doesn't seem to fit with the lines of the Titan (although I did like the way the two were integrated.)

Please don't try to make the Titan look like an Avalance/Ridgeline. The roof lights are fine but I don't realy care for the look of the "rear roll bar looking thing". Just my opinion.
Uhhh what he said!

The light Bar is very close and I mean very, very close to the lights that were made for the Troy Lee Designs Titan. In fact I spoke with the company that made the lights for Troy Lee, andthey were a one-off design with a cost of close to $7000.00 to design and fabricate. I was considering it until I heard the price. So if you can get them made for a good price count me in!

I think it looks cool. Is there any possibility of incorporating optional mounting for some type of standard roof rack cross bars (e.g., Yakima, Thule) so that it could be used for some light duty stuff like fishing rods, surf boards, bicycles, perhaps in connection with an additional rack support (e.g. the OEM Nissan rack support) at the rear of the bed. That might give you an added functionality and potential sales base.

I have a suggestion. It looks like you have enough room in back of the roof rack lights to install another set of lights perhaps. I was thinking something like fog lights or something that looked nice. doesnt have to look like the front but just make it flush with the back of the cab. I circled the area that I am talking about. Then we can hook it up to the rev. lights and have added ilumintation. Just a suggestion.

YESSSS! That would be great since I generally can't see crap when I back up at night.

I think I'd like the lights as well. I'm no electrician though. How would you wire those up? Also, if you were selling to this crowd it looks like you'd need two designs...one for CC and one for KC.

I think Russell hit the nail on the head. I personally wouldn't want the roll bar but the lights on top look fantastic. Back up lights on the rear would just be the icing on the cake. Count me in.

I like them.. can you..

I like them. Love the lights. Will you make then for King Cabs? Can you integrate roof rack attachment points so as to accept customizeing, maybe with yakkima attachments.

I want to use the roof for extra kayak/mt bike or ski storage but don't want to get a camper shell.

I think the main issue would be how good the seals hold in carwashes.

Love the lights, low profile but has to be bright, may be HID but that would be very expensive?

As long as it would still be able to go into parking garages...
