07 Se, it has Dual In and Single Out.

Im looking for a Muffler that sounds good on the road.

I was told to do a Magnaflow muffler swap, but after looking at the vids of Titan on youtube the Magnaflows dont sound very mean at start up/idle. how do they sound going down the road? i want something mean, but not super loud.

I'd like to get away with just a muffler swap if i can. thanks.

Magnaflow is my choice. Another one I dont know much about but a lot of guys love them is Aerochamber.

Magna flow, 18 inch or if you can stand it they make a 14.

Mags do sound very mean IMO, you can't really go by youtube videos. There are also Dynomax mufflers and my second choice after the Magnaflow would probably be a Borla XR-1. I have the 22" Mag, which is one of the quietest and it sounds amazing, then again, I have headers and no cats, so that helps it be a bit louder

yeah, i did the same thing and was looking at youtube videos....trust me, the Magnaflow #12258 (18") muffler swap is money well spent and does sound mean. At first start up when cold, it's not that loud...but after driving a few miles it has a nice deep rumble to it that definitely gets people's attention.

I did a 14" magnaflow si/so swap in my 05. I know most people like them, I absolutely hated it. Start up/ idle is stock sound a tad louder, and when hammerin on it, you still hear more engine noise than exhaust. Miserable, I ripped it off and went with an MBRP system, but I dont know if they make them for the dual in setups. I have a hooker aerochamber on my 5.2 Dodge, and it sounds awesome. It all comes down to personal preference. My last truck took me 5 exhaust systems to get it right, luckily it just took 2 on the titan, love my MBRP

Quickflow Muffler

This is what I have, invented and patented by a guy here in South LA. These are great, and will work perfect on your Titan.

Ran this as just a muffler swap for a long time, and was louder than two guys I know here with Titans who have dual flowmasters.

I have had this muffler on multiple vehicles, and have loved it for every application.

This is a Mom and Pop type operation, but you can find some good info about this product online.

they're big in the diesel industry and also like snowmobile exhausts and whatnot. They, like banks, have started moving into the gas market. Its set up just like the banks except with no y pipe, 3.5" instead of 3" pipe, and a 4" tip. Looks awesome and no performance drop because of the large a** pipe. Sounds awesome at start up and screams when you get on it. And you have the option of aluminized pipe (still stainless muffler and tip) which knocked the price down to about 360 shipped, or stainless versions for a little less than the banks. Couldnt be happier with it tho..

I went with dual flowmaster 40 series, single in single out, and it is loud..but it sounds good imo. If you wanted flowmaster sound, but not so loud, you could go with the flowmaster 50 series. (i have ran flowmasters in the past and have been pleased with the sound that they have offered).

thats what I thought but if you think about it, dual 2.5" tailpipes =5 total inches in diameter, so 3.5 aint crazy. No performance losses due to backpressure loss thanks to the 18million cats our trucks have. Sounds amazing at any throttle position, and my buddies actually like it, and they alll HATE my truck (Jap rig, rice burner etc..) theyre all GM and Dodge

Hey guys. I'm interested in what "JESSESTYLEX" is looking for, except I drive an '07 titan SE King and is looking for a MEAN sound...not like flowmasters or glaspacks, but MEAN. I guess i want it to sound like it belongs on a race track (fast as hell). However, as much as I hate to say this, I don't understand half of yall's "exhaust terminology." Can someone PLEASE break it down for me in idiot terms, my best bet is without getting screwed? Looking for reasonable priced solution to a heavy/loud/mean sound, with a significant horsepower increase. Thank's a lot. WHO DAT?!

Hey bro if you ever want to hear my JBA let me know i'm like 20 miles away lol.I just got some nismo Lt's and I think i'll try my JBA with em' before I rip em off,but i'm also looking for something mean lol if I can find some tips similar to banks' I'll try the 22" magnaflow.

You're looking for "Loud Mean Heavy" the only way to achieve that sound is with maybe a Super 44 dumped but there goes your performance. If you want a good sound with performance, Hooker Aerochamber is where it's at. Ask Qxindulgences about his setup.........he'll be more than happy to chime in.

I just ordered a Dynomax Bullet 3" and a FM Y-Collector from Summit today. I plan on trying to install it this weekend. From what I understand, it's a pretty mean set-up. I'll let you know how it turns out if you still are trying to decide.

And I thought Flowmaster had the worst chambered design......it looks like a mouse maze in there. Sounds just like a 40 Series Deltaflow IMO. I wouldn't use them but that's just me.

Thanks for all the info guys, but does the 18" magnaflow sound good when you get on the gas really hard? or the the sound fade?

Also since i have a Dual In, should i get the muffler that has a Dual In and Dual Out? whats the diff in a single out and a dual out?

I have no cats and flow-through muffler, also until a day or 2 ago, was the fastest non-cammed Titan. You can run flow-through mufflers all day with no cats, as long as you don't have huge exhaust piping. The way you keep the air flowing fast and keep a good performing exhaust, is to keep the exhaust piping the appropriate size

Since I've got a 4x4 and want to keep/improve my torque while increasing HP, I preferred a chambered design instead of losing some bottom end with a totally FF muffler....
