Where can I buy a utili-track system

My 2005 SE came with the plastic bed liner and I've been curious to know how much it would cost to put a utili track system In. I noticed the protective cover on top of the bed rails and tailgate are the same but mine also lacks the plastic liner on top of the part that butts up against the cab so I would want to see about getting that trim piece also

Sometimes you can find someone on here that's getting rid of theirs for one reason or another. As for the bed being different, I've heard both ways. Different, same. I tend to lean towards the latter.

The plastic trim piece is probably only going to be gotten from a dealership.

How hard can it really be to drill a hole and mount these? I mean the bottom would be stupid easy, and the rails might take some finagling but would still be doable. Even if the bed is different, it shouldn't be difficult...

Maybe there's some kind if universal kit out there? I'll look it up

It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. :D I thought the util-track bed was beefed up and had notches for the tracks.

Chevy copied the idea, so there might be a universal kit out there. :dunno:

Where! I want it right meow!! The whole reason I want the system is for the adjustable locking extender, that would be perfect

The beds are different, the one designed for the track system has double plates underneath the bottom tracks and extra attach points on the side track mounts.
That doesn't mean you can't do a retro fit type install, but the side tracks are hard to fully duplicate...

Yeah, I think the inside lip of our beds is a little wimpy by itself to attach an aftermarket rail on. I just helped install a tonneau on another member's truck and there was some flex going on due to the lip being kind of weak. I'm glad to have the track on my truck for the clamps on my tonneau. no flex at all.

I'll try to look, its gonna be tricky though, I hide all the ads I've looked at on my phone so I'll have to uncover them all some how. I'll let you know if I find it!

Found it! Its in Tacoma, looks like all the tracks some cleats and the extender..$200. Search in Tacoma under Nissan Titan sliding bed extender. If you want I can just give you the guys number?

Maybe...anyways I need to pull my plastic one out and see if there is any hidden threaded mounting spots hidden underneath, I'd suspect they would have interchangeable beds for different models

Bump, found it and posted it in my last post. You could always get 2 6 foot strips of steel and run it along the track, but under the bed to make it more secure. If there is room that is...

Or if anywhere sales a bed extender that fits our trucks nicely that would be good enough for me too

It's been a while since this was posted so I'll bump it up.

There's a guy in the buy/sell section selling a set. Though his price seems a little high if he doesn't have the clamps.
