I have some knock off Ebay red l.e.d. tail lights and a l.e.d. 3rd brake light that I bought from burtm a n Industries. Both the tail lights and the 3rd brake light work fine except there is 4 burnt lights on one of the tail lights and one burnt light on the third brake light. Is there a way to fix these? Do I have to bake them to access the burnt lights?

There is a writeup here somewhere that details how to get the LED's back to working. Apparently the most common problem is loose connections not burnt out LED's. I have a horizontal row out. I figure they can't all burn out at the same time so it must be a loose connection. One of these days I'll get around to it.

I have a horizontal row as well. Ill check it out. I would rather go to stock stuff than open up...sounds like a PITA.

My first set of ebay lights (kazespeed) lost two rows of three LEDs almost immediately. My second set (K2) lasted longer but now has two out of three LEDs out on one row. I am considering buying the Seres lights but I have read posts that even these more expensive lights are prone to this problem as well. I have read the how to thread about fixing this problem. Sooner or later I will have to learn how to do this. I love the look of these lights so this skill will come in handy.
