Check that out!!! I want one!!
We just got back From Fordyce Sunday, and Rubicon last Friday.
2 awesome trips in a row!!
I didn't have any issues at all except for having to straighten out a couple lower links after the Rubicon.
I couldn't be happier with the Titan and the way it works.
It's so frikkn big it just walks over stuff like it's not even there. Very dependable and "relatively" easy to drive.
If it will fit, it will go!
Anyway.... I got a bunch of calls, e-mails and PM's about pics so I figured I'd start a thread. I'll give storys along with the pics as I post them over the next couple days.

We need to see more shots of your truck chief. That blue color looks pretty sweet!now that is sick!!!!!!!!
Stock tranny, Atlas II T-Case. I emailed the owner awhile back and asked for some details. I was also inquiring on whether he had had any flex plate failure issues and he said no.I seriously doubt the tranny is stock... I KNOW the motor has a blower at least from the burn out vids... probably more than just a blower. it's probably a different motor by now as that was a while ago. and how they drive I seriously doubt the 1st tranny lasted one trip. my tranny is ready to explode on every hard push on the pedal it's a spin of the gun... and there is nothing I can do to my truck that could even compare to the abuse they put on theirs with those 46"s doing the doughnuts with a blower under the hood... I think their tranny was built since the 1st year they had it.. could be a nissan shell and some parts, but I'm pretty sure it has a beefed up tranny. I'd wager something else and a different transfer case....

Thanks!!
I own XXX Traction and I built the Titan. The Titan's technically owned by Source Media/Four Wheeler Magazine however I have it in my possetion all the time and wheel it any time I want. I just don't have to pay for any parts, fuel, trailers, towing, registeration, insurance, bla, bla, bla.
Can you please tell me, what exactly you are running drivetrain wise? I know it's the VK56DE Nissan engine with a Stillen Supercharger, correct?"
Correct on the engine.
The drivetrain's all custom.
Dana 80 rear
Dana 60 front
"What about the transmission? Is it the Nissan/Jatco transmission that came in the truck, or did you do some sort of swap? If it is indeed the factory transmission, has anything internally been upgraded? Have you had any failures or other issues? If so, how did you correct them?"
It's a totally stock trans. We recently burned up the Atlass (literally, really... it got so hot it cought on fire) so the trans had developed a leak at the rear output seal and the front pump seal had been leaking a little for a while. So when I put the new Atlass in it I installed another transmission I had. That transmission only lasted about 2 days, I don't know why yet, but it nuetrals when it gets warm. I'm re-sealing the old one and putting it back in. It never gave any problems at all. When I swap the transmissions again I'll inspect the flex plate close. Thanks for that info.
"I recall reading somewhere about a custom adapter that was made by Atlas to couple the transmission to an Atlas II T-case, correct? Is that a one-off item?"
The first one was a custom one off, Advanced Adapters has them in production and in stock now.
It's a great upgrage IMO.
Toby Lavender.
It has a racing fuel cell mounted in the rear, probably 30 gallons???I love it but didnt notice any fuel cans in the back
how far can it go on 1 tank offroad?
I would imagine once you get the working transfer case i would be a simple bolt in.50-1114
nissan titan atlas transfer case adapter... still dunno what all would need to be done. think I'll email them. should be able to find a rebuilt atlas TC for cheap I'd imagine? and with that any mechanic shop that sets up rear ends and trannys should be capable I'd imagine to do the work![]()
