Well I couldn't wait to install and thought I would post up some pics and first impressions. I have a 2005 CC 4x4, with a Single Gibson Exhaust, Bully Dog PP set at premimum, 2 deg adv and WOT restriction removed, I also was running a stock intake box with the inlet mod and a K&N filter.

So here we go:
All stock like.

All Parts pulled out of the box and ready.

Nice hardware.

Stock tube removed.

New Banks intake tube, notice the resonator chamber, very nice should help with intake noise.

Installing the Grommet on the Banks filter box.

Installing the Banks filter box.

Tube installed and fitting the clamps.

All set up and ready to go. Notice the Resonator right next to the intake cover, looks better than the factory unit.

First impression, WOW... It is a little louder than my Moded air box, but not in a bad way.. It sounds really good. I have run a Volant Gen 1 and 2 and AEM brute force, this system so far is MUCH better.. 0 - 60 seems a little faster and with bit more Growl!!!

I had some guy in a 90's Mustang 5.0 conv. trying to race me, bad place, no race for him, besides, wasn't worth the gas..

I will hook up the trailer for a pull soon and see how it works and update this post then..

Ah that looks nice, a sound clip would be great :D

Couple questions, what is the item by the master cylinder? (red square) How does the box bolt to the fender? To keep the MAF wiring from flopping in the breeze, swap the clips, remove the bottom clip and instal the top clip in it place on the bracket. See ATT.

Very nice! When you say that system is much better, in what ways is it better?
As far as noise.. Performance seem to be on par with the other 2, although I didn't have the Bully Dog with the AEM or Volant.. Wait I had the AEM with a VK pro, this combo - 100 percent better!!!!

The box is my Power step control unit, looks funky, but it's out of the way and stay clean..

I'll be doing the clip swap this weekend. I ran out of time during install, wasted to much time taking pictures.

I used my dealer employee status to get a good price from Banks.. If it works like I hope, it would be worth it even at retail...

Here's a post from another thread:

"I just got off the phone with BANKS. They just started selling the CAI for Titans, it is called a "RAM- AIR" but its just a CAI. The original price is $379.00 for the Intake and they sell a combo Intake and Monster Exhaust for $1009.00 delivered. But I asked about a discount, and the guy offered me a discount rate for a group buy if ya'll are interested: Intake $322.00 , and Exh: $535.00. He didn't give me a combo discount but im sure they would group them.Turns out that the reason that we havn't discovered them sooner is it just came out on thursday."

Call Moy at 800-601-8072 and ask about the group buy for TitanTalk members.

Looks great, but just a word of caution. I see you are running the premiun tune with the 2° advance. I have heard that it is not a good thing to do. You may want to ask some guys on here that are data logging.

Did a search and found nothing.. So what is the issue?

The tune will advance your timing, you need to remove the 2 degree advance, your hurting yourself and can cause a lean condition which would lead to detonation and then a new motor.

Recently, I ran some logs comparing the BD premium tune vs the regular tune. Both tunes show the same timing at WOT which is a max of 35-36 degrees when advanced two degrees, but the regular tune ran a richer AFR. The premium tune showed a 12.9-13.3 AFR and the regular tune was 12.5-12.9. That helped explain why the reg tune runs a faster 1/4 mile over the premium tune on my Titan. I didn't show any signs of detonation on either tune, but IMO, the regular tune is safer and produces better results anyway.
