Got some things done so far! for the texas meet
well thanks. yea i just pulled the factory bumper cover off. started raining here so i guess i will be gettin delayed dang itnice mod dude
truck is looking sick!!
must be something with taking the front bumper off and then it raining....well thanks. yea i just pulled the factory bumper cover off. started raining here so i guess i will be gettin delayed dang it
i have done so much crap to my truck, that i can pull the front clip off in about 4 minutes. lolmust be something with taking the front bumper off and then it raining....
the day(s) i pulled mine apart i had to do it in between rain showers...
wasn't too bad though, i took it off, pulled it apart, put the pieces on the new bumper then when i was finished the rain had stopped.
im leaving the bedliner on the sides and rocksliders alone. i will repaint the truck at a later date. it will either go back white, blue, or sunburnt orange with ghost flames.Looks great on the bedliner.
For the paint job, will you do anything else on it like pin stripes or leave it that finish? I can't tell from my computer.
i have no expierence in that. never had to take the end caps off.i vote for orange...... but i'm biast
yeah, the front bumper is really easy to take off once you've done it, but i still have no desire to take those end caps off ever again.....
i really want to do the front receiver mount one of these days...
i can get a hell of a deal on the line x here. we get it at wholesale. also i like the orange with ghost flames probably the most. i would just shoot the red in my wheels, orangenice....makes me wanna line-x my whole truck lol....i like the nissan symbol in the bed too, nice touch
i say orange with the ghost flames as well, but then you'd have to do something about the red in your wheels...hmmmm
thanks for the info, the only issue with a winch i have heard about it the warn. they use plastic planetary gears and strip on some occasions. i got a steal on the winch 404 is what i paid. has a warranty so if it screws up adios and get a new one. if it happens enough ill go to the 16,500. lmaolooks good bro, good luck with that winch Ive heard there a hit and miss, some work without problems and others quit after the first time you use them.
thank you sir. i put some more corn out yesterday when i got home. all 300lbs were gone in 2 weeks.Looking good man.
if you want something done let me know. i can get you a heck of a deal. jbcc has an account with line x in west ft worth off camp bowie and 820, so just let me know.Looking sweet.
I may have a little Line-X something or another done myself before the meet.
Only the cheaper warns have the plastic gears. The 16.5ti has metal, the one I have have metal, some of the 9.5 have metal. Just have to do research on them before you buy them. Milemarker makes some awesome hydraulic winches though.thanks for the info, the only issue with a winch i have heard about it the warn. they use plastic planetary gears and strip on some occasions. i got a steal on the winch 404 is what i paid. has a warranty so if it screws up adios and get a new one. if it happens enough ill go to the 16,500. lmao
i was thinking about a hydraulic winch, but if the truck isnt running the winch is useless. but if you have an electric winch and the gears break or motor over heats its worthless as well. lol. just easier instal for the electric. but i do like alot of the hydraulic winches out thereOnly the cheaper warns have the plastic gears.
