Finally had it intalled. I had been looking for somewhere locally to do it that was dependable and found a shop about 30min away in Longview. Haven't really laid into it yet, but will soon. I am heading to Austin to Uprev on the 23rd to get on the dyno so it will be good to already have this mod done. I will let you know the results once it's tuned. Oh yeah my truck is an '07 KC Big Tow with 14in magnaflow muffler swap.

Yea I have read that about synthetic as well but shailey over at mightytitans which knows as much if not more about these trucks as anyone has done this mod and used synthetic many times with no problems so I'm not worried about that but I know it's not what the manufacture recommends so I understand what your saying.

You whine like a pregnent mule!
Jeeze, sounds like you were trying to stop him from getting on a plane with a bomb aboard....

This has been somewhat conflicting...The users manual states you can run whatever oil the veh manufacture suggests,

Lubrication
The TrueTrac differential is designed to operate in those lubricants recommended by the vehicle/axle
manufacturer for conventional differentials.
Routine Inspection
Carefully follow the recommended lubrication, preventative maintenance and inspection procedure
There have been verbal suggestions the synthetic won't shead the heat as well, but I'm more worried about the ring, pinion and bearings then the TT...

Enjoy your new LSD...Haven't done any climbing yet, but flat ground drifting is awsome!!

When I got my TT installed at Hoopers Rear Ends, I asked the guy what type of oil he'd be putting in there. He said, it'd be dyno juice. It's not a bad thing to use synth but from what I remember him telling me, the dyno provides a better cushion in-between the gears. Since they specialize in rear diffs, I take his word as law. I also asked him about the Mag-Hytec covers and he said they're not really worth the money on a Titan. Just thought I'd share that little tid-bit.

I sure would, I don't see it needing a break in. As a matter of fact, we have about 6-8 guys who have all had there TT's put in by the same guy, and we all got on it just to make sure everything was right. I don't think their really is a break in period for the TT, but I could be wrong
