i have a springtech 2/4 drop and have some axle wrap and want to get rid of it.i have been looking at the hellwig traction springs but wanted too see if they work well with a 4" drop in the rear.ive also looked into the pgr traction bars and at 430 for a set just cant do it right now and still need some shocks anyways.

The heavy duty Hellwig traction springs will not fit the 09 properly. Nissan moved the front leaf spring clip on the 09 models and that interferes with the mounting. The regular Hellwig traction springs are shorter than the HD ones, but I have no idea if they will fit properly. There's a thread here somewhare with pics on an 09 that tried to put the HD set on.

Edit: changed 08 to 09

i was going to go with the regular set not hd just havent seen anybody running them with a drop leaf spring

No, they don't change the rear height. The rear will feel more stable and firmer without any annoying axle wrap.

Way back, a lot of guys were doing the $22 helper spring mod that JetTech came up with. Instead of using it as a helper spring it was mounted in front of the axle and was said to act like a traction bar.

Here's a link to where JetTech explains it, but the pics didn't show up. http://www.titantalk.com/forums/tit.../titan-engine-transmission-drivetrain/11185-drive-train-clunk-3.html#post155976
He also posted over at CT about them, and if you click on "04 Crewcab LE 4x2" in his sig, there are a couple of good pics of them on his first Titan. I never tried it so idk, but many seemed to really like the results.

They're awesome...I felt them immediately, it feels like the rear squats down when you accelerate hard.

And no, they don't raise the rear at all...

I have them on mine and they're awesome. Huge difference, but I'm lifted.
