After installing the mini lift i have the problem with the upper control arm hitting the coil bucket. So the only solution i found is to get an aftermarket upper control arm. Which one should i get: PRG, NCD, or Total Chaos?

Thanks!!!

I run the T/C and have had zero issues....But...The PRG uses Heim type bearings at the inner pivots which can be adjusted individually to get your alignment really dialed in...

My 04' has alignment cams on the lower arm and I'm set far as alignment and the T/C inner pivots use urethane bushings which dampen noise and vibration into the cab.

I have been looking at UCA's for a while. Yesterday I was at 4WheelParts getting their prices and the guy there said Icon make an adjustable UCA for our trucks. Said he has installed it on one guys truck and they seem to be 10 times better than the TC's and Camburg's. He's supposed to be calling me back today with a price on them and somewhere to see some visuals of them to prove they exist. I'll post an update when I get more info.

Total Chaos no longer makes them for the T. Only way to get them is find a used set.

Rough Country makes a decent set at a reasonable price, not as beefy as the rest, but I'm sure they'd hold up fine under 'normal' driving applications. This shows the kit, but I do believe you can purchase the arms seperately. I like the fact that is a sealed, replaceable ball joint.

As stated before, PRG UCA are the best.

uh...10 times better....why not say 4.7 times better?....I'd love to talk to this guy(from 4WP, not the poster..:)) and ask him to quantify his statement...

the guys at 4wheelparts are worse than greasy car salesmen.
Both of these comments are why I'm waiting to see these things for my own eyes... I only use 4wheelparts if I have to, and the other shop that's local here can't get any UCA's for me. 99% sure I'm going to end up going with Greg's anyway, I just want to see what the idiot comes back with from Icon. It's hard for me to believe that if Icon made UCA's for our truck, no one on here has them...

you know you could always try grinding your coil buckets where the UCA contact is and save some $$. But if you are set on going higher then the PRGs would be my choice.
