At Berk Technology we are dedicated to providing you with industry leading quality and performance. It was brought to our attention from Titan users in the field that there is an interference issue at the transfer case on the 4x4 Titans when using our B-pipes. Our B-Pipes which were originally made using a 2WD Titan as our test vehicle and the transfer case difference on the 4WD was an oversight on our part.

We first need to identify who has 4WD Titans out of our list of Group Buy participants so that we may start sending you UPS Shipping labels to return the pipes. One our our customer support specialists will be contacting the entire list of customers to collect the information.

You will need to affix the UPS label to the original B-pipe box we sent you. Please use some additional padding such as newspaper in the box to make sure these return safely.

Overview of process:
-Contact form Berk confirming 2wd or 4wd fitment.
-UPS label is sent
-Driver side pipe is returned to Berk.
-New 4WD specific driver side pipe is sent to you.

There will be no additional shipping charges for this. Berk Technology will be covering the shipping cost both ways.

Thank you all for your patience and cooperation. Please call us if you have any questions.

Best Regards,
Bryan

First off, adding the B pipes will allow better exhaust flow not really "adding" more HP/TQ... freeing the exhaust flow will improve our engine's overall performance and "give" more HP/TQ but the power has always been there... Heck, straight catless flow through B pipes for the exhaust system would be ultimate, but these will satisfy the emissions system's checks n balances without throwing a SES code, as well as help you be green with having HF Metal Cats.

As for Stealin's B pipes, they are 2" diameter, they used ceramic core cats, and the rear O2 bungs are integrated in the cat housing... Ceramic cats have failure issues as well as some people having reported that they have had SES codes with bad reads from the rear in-cat O2 mounts... and the price is something too...

Which would you rather have? 2.25" B Pipes with metal cats... Or 2" B Pipes with ceramic cats...

The stillins are not 2" and they do not use the in-cat bung mounts.. I do not know what kind of CORE they use within the cats .. but I do know that they are magnaflo cats. The pics with measurements and showing the o2 locations are in the link in the above post #27. Price is higher but only with group by pricing not REG pricing. I got mine for $440.00.

While I am not certain what type of cats berk is using I do know that stillen changed there cats due to failures they swapped them out with magnaflows.
Some piocs here ... Stillen B-pipes installed today ** pics**
Berk Tech is using the Mangaflow UNIVERSAL-FIT CATALYTIC CONVERTER

Aaahhh, thanks for your thread link... I see that the pipes do appear to be 2.25" and that Cat looks like the Magnaflow #94035... which is a ceramic core... 440 is decent, but Berk's can be had right now from Scott@Fontananissan for 375... I think he only has a few left at that price...

Agreed, if I were in the market right now .. the berks would be my 1st choice... due to price and what appears to be some awesome customer service. But When I got mine, well they were pretty much it. Nothing else was available that I could buy and bolt on.

Bryan @ Berk,

Any update on 4x4 B-Pipe availability to the general public? I notice the website allows one to order the B-Pipes online, but nowhere does it ask the buyer to specify if 2WD or 4WD. Just curious if that should be updated.

For what it's worth, I received my replacement 4x4 driver side pipe yesterday. Installation will take place this weekend.

Got my pipes back from Berk today. Just got done with the install. A bit sore from wrenching but excited that they're installed. Haven't started her up yet. Waiting for tomorrow for the test drive. :coolsmile

Took about 1.5 hrs but that's because I couldn't use my air tools. My compressor and impact wrench would probably piss of a few neighbors...and I don't want to be "that a-hole." 36" breaker bar saved my life.

No pics yet since the lighting is bad. Tried a few shots and the pics didn't turn out. Will get pics tomorrow as well. For those on the fence about getting these...DO IT! :bangit:

Glad you guys are getting your 4x4 pipes. Install is pretty straight forward. There is no need to lengthen the O2 sensor harness, I tested it on two separate 4x4 trucks. You'll just need to unclip the wiring harness from the retaining clips and give it some more room to stretch towards the sensor bung on the pipe. Make sure that you zip tie that sucker on the bracket up there so there is no way the wire will rub on the 4x4 driveshaft.

Got my drivers side back to BERK tuesday hoping I get a tracking number today!!!!

Great pipes Berk! Just drove in to work. Had to take a long route. Definitely more growl and feels like more low end.

Now I just need to get a Borla cat back and headers. Sucks that the Nismo is no longer in production. Stillen...well...nah. Now if only some company that does great work can replicate the Nismos...
