Since I've bought my new T, I've been drooling over these rims. They're called XD Badlands and I think they would look absolutely sic on the blue steel color. So, I figured this would be the right place to ask this question.
I'm planning on going with the pro comp 6" lift and I want to buy the rims first, so what off set should I use to avoid anykind of rubbing before and after the lift? They're going to be 20x9's and I will be going with 35" Toyo M/T's.

Go with an offset close to stock, which will be around +18. A lower offset will stick out more and be more likely to rub at the PWM. A higher offset will put the tire closer to the uca.

like mack said...

but once your lifted it'll look way more bad azz if they have a more aggressive offset. try to get a offset that barely fits stock so when your lifted they dont look too narrow.

They only come in a +18 and a -12. My -12 barely fit without rubbing.

So they did fit without rubbing before you lifted it or did you have to do some trimming?

I think I'm going to go with the +18 for now and probably buy some Bora 1.5" wheels spacers after I'm lifted just to be on the safe side. I appreciate the input guys!

In that case, I just might have to go with the -12's.
If I remember right... when the offset starts going negative it brings the rim further out and with the positive it brings the rim farther in... right?

You won't be able to run the 35's until you get the 6" on, and you still may have to do the pwm. The stance is awesome with the -12's though.

And yes, positive is in, negative is out. No pun intended.

I have wheels with -12 offset with 35s and I had to do light trimming with the PWM. And don't you already have the 4" Rancho lift? You selling it to get the procomp?

No, Nissan bought my truck back and gave me a bad @$$ deal on a new fully loaded 4x4 CC SL. So good in fact, that I would have been a complete idiot not to take them up on it. So... I'm starting over. I loved the Rancho but I want bigger with this Truck. I won't be throwing the 35's on until I lift it so hopefully I won't have to do much trimming if any...
I am torn between lift kits though... The rough country 6" or the procomp 6". I can get the RC shipped to AK for $1250 or the PC for $1500... I've been told the RC is taller but the PC is better made. Anybody have any info about that?

I bet they all have little issues, but a lot of people here lately are going with the RC kit and love it. I would go with the RC kit if I were you. It's a very tall kit and a great price. Unless your going with a procomp stage2 lift. Aquahollic was selling a nice CST lift for 4wd drive trucks. You should check it out if he still has it.

The RC kit has had great reviews and little to no issues from what ive read. It's also the tallest. It'd be a good investment to get traction bars with any lift. RC sells them now and ive seen a few threads for prg's bars for sale too.

And the -12's on a leveled T look bada$$. My inspiration for going with the -12's, from Windza:

So I'm decided, thanks to you guys. Going with the -12 offset for the badlands and the RC 6". SHOULD have everything bought and installed by the end of the year. I appreciate it guys!
