Slotted good, cross drilled, not good. The cross drilled can actually crack if heated up too much. The slotted are good to disipate heat. I used R1 Concepts slotted rotors with ceramic pads. Are you going to be towing? How much are you wanting to spend? The frozen rotors come highly recommended and are a site sponsor but were out of my budget. You didn't say what year your truck was either. If you're pre 08, a lot of people update to post 08 brakes that are larger and offer better stopping power.

Good info on the slotted vs cross drilled....thank you! Yes, i'm not trying to spend much as i'm kinda on a budget. Around the $200 mark!

Cross drilled rotors cracking was a problem in years past. Metallurgy has gotten to the point where quality rotors do not crack any longer. Please do not take my statement as endorsing these rotors though. I have no idea if these rotors are decent or not.

I installed the power stop brakes about 30k ago. Not impressed at all. Pad build up on them is horrible and gives you that bumpy stop. A couple of "panic" stops from 70mph cleans then up and brakeing is smooth again, for awhile.

I was looking for something a bit better than what the parts store had but I didnt want to break the bank.

Now as I look back, I wish I would have spent a bit more for some better rotors. Brakes arent really an area you want to skimp on.

I just bought drilled and slotted rotors from brake performance for $142 shipped to my door.

LyferXB9s is running these exact ones. i was just talking to him about these the other day. cuz i was gunna get these exact ones also. might be ordering them tomorrow(payday). PM Lyfer and he'll tell u all about them. he was on a budget also. like most of us. lol. good luck bud
If you havent already order your brakes, shoot me a PM, we have several options for the Titan that we can recommend. We guarantee the lowest prices as well.

For about 480 I put on the ebc dimpled and slotted rotors with green stuff pads, great stopping power but they are noisy. I have about 5k on no problems yet!
