Headlight Help Needed

First off let me say hi, I am a car dealer out of middle tn who specializes in late model rebuilts. Longtime member of ls1tech amd ar15.com, joined here after much google searching on a problem with a Titan I bought.

Low beam headlights do not work, fogs and highs work fine. All grounds are good, No wires or connectors have any damage. IPDM shows signs of abuse, and all relays were pulled/replaced at one time. Replaced switch on colum, no fix.

I do not get power to either side of the low beam fuses. 12v Jumper wire to the fuses directly makes both lights illuminate. I suspect IPDM is faulty and needs replacing, just wanted to get a second opinion. This is the only elec. problem with the truck, everything else works perfect.

Also if IPDM is faulty, local dealer wants $209. A part no. or (pref. site sponsor) vendor would be great.

the Titan is known to have issues with the starter relay in the IPDM. If it has a relay for the headlights. I would start with testing that, since we know relays in general are known to cause issues.

I have previously tested and replaced all faulty relays. Is the ipdm like a circuit board inside? thought about trying to take it apart and see if something is broken inside.

What is the correct part no for a replacement ipdm?

are you getting power to the relay? i know you said none to the fuse. but the relay is previous to the fuse i think.

Thanks for the quick replies.

Have power at relay terminal, continuity tested the fuses. Replaced headlight relay with known good ones. The relay does click when enguaged but still no power to fuse. Only other link I can think of is IPDM board.

Any direction to a reputable vendor would be awesome.

Welcome to the forum. It will save you tons of cash. I Picked up a 04 4x4 Titan with 141k on the clock and have yet taken it to a shop to have it worked on! Everything you need is here except the beer . Small world, I am in cookeville also. Good luck.

Just got the truck back in the shop this morning. New IPDM fixed the headlights. Thanks for the help. Double G- our shop is off hwy 56 right behind wildwood market, come by and say hi, the place is a work in progress but getting it off the ground.
