As i have been searching, i got extremely confused, and joined this fourm for a answer. I have a 2010 Titan with the factory RF 6 disk changer and the front door speakers started going out so i opt to replace with a set of JL Component spearkers.

Well the factory system is not providing enough output to power these things up to where they should be. So i plan on installing a amp to power these and eventually the whole truck(once i get the funds for all the speakers).

Trying to figure out how to get the pre amp signal for the front speakers to the amp? Not sure if there is a way to tap wires from the radio to install rcas or saw like the midline have to rip apart the stereo to install rcas, ect. Dont want to install a loc as i heard the quality is not as great and no impressed with the sound quality as is lol. Thanks for any help.

Yea didn't see a email address didn't want to bug with a visitor message lol. It's the Rf system so don't know if its like the midline or not.

You can get it directly from the subwoofer under the drivers seat

make pins thatll fit into the stock harness so you don't have to cut it and can revert back to stock
Think that would work for subs but for door speakers dunno if that would be a good source. Would like to have source like lf rf lr rr

I just made a connector like mbquartz did and it awesome. I have front and rear preamp now. I previously ran a LOC from the back speakers and from my sub at one time, and neither of those sounded right. Once I did it like mbquartz it sounds awesome. Worth the little bit of trouble and money for the plugs

^^^ This is the way to go. I worked in an audio shop for 2 years, did this exact project on a customer's titan with navigation. Use a quality LOC or an amp with pre-amp inputs, and you'll be in style! Good luck!

Let me know what you all think... I am working new harness. With it you will unplug the harness from the OEM amp and plug the harness into this one.it will compleatly disconnect the OEM amp so you wouldnt be able to use it anymore but Heres what it will give you..

Front RCA out
Rear RCA out
Front Door Speaker Wires
Front Dash Tweeter Wires
Center Speaker Wires
Rear Speaker Wires
Accessory for Amp Turn On

Compleatly plug and play..

im interested any luck on this?
thanks

MATTG I built a harness for someone but we are going to do something diffrent in his truck. If you need it I can have him send it to you instead of back to me..
