Hi. So the blower fan in my SE '08 Titan won't shut off when turning the blower speed control to the off position. The A/C,directional position and temp controls all work. I had to go to the dealership for an oil change anyway. When I was there I asked the tech what it could possibly be. He said the Climate Controller was usually the problem and that a new one would cost me $450 INSTALLED!:eek_surprise: I have a buddy with the same truck as mine and he was willing to remove the working Climate Controller he had to let me use it to troubleshoot. I installed his and it did not resolve the issue. What could it be now???

Probably the VBC. It's been known to burn/melt and cause the blower motor to be stuck at one speed. Anywhere from not operating to full speed. Probably about $50. Just do a search for VBC to get part number

Hi. Thanks for the response baseballfanz. I visited my local Nissan Dealership, gave them my VIN# and they provided me with a VBC. Removed the bad one and installed the new one and Whammo problem fixed! I can finally hear myself think again :big_grin:
My only question is, the one I installed looked a little different than the one that was originally there. The new one had four fins opposed to the three finned original one. The new one was a smaller box than the old one. The part# of the new VBC is # 27151-ZT00A. The guy at the spare parts counter swore that was the correct VBC for my VIN#
Even though it works, should I be concerned??

So I did some more research and I attached two files: The VBC I installed and the kind I pulled out. The one I pulled out looks like part# 27151-ZW00A ( 2009-2012 ) but with three fins. The new one I installed is part# 27151-ZT00A ( 2004-2008 ). So what gives, is my truck a 2008.5 or something
