AMP Power Steps

When my truck went up (i.e. lift kit) something had to come down. I recently installed a pair of AMP Research Power Steps. I lifted my truck and with the stock steps my family was having a hard time getting into it. The stock steps measured 21" to the step pad. With the AMP Steps they go down to 18". 3" may or may not be a big difference big helped out alot. It will also help out getting into the back with one on the way. AMP also makes longer arms for lifted trucks but i just used the standard arms that the kit came with. check it out!! click the pic.

I really like those. But they're super expensive as far as steps go. I was also concerned about how they'd function up here in the north during the winter if they got clogged up with slush and ice and snow. Too much of a cost risk for me to run. They are really slick, though. Nice job! :thumbsup:

nice work. i've been thinking about running boards for a while. the stockers are about 3 years old and when i step out the pad is starting to sqeek.

Here's an idea, why don't you get something that sucks for your truck so I don't have to be jealous every time you post.

Very nice! I have had mine for about 4 months now with no problem and I have got them pretty muddy a few times. I like how you can stand on them while closing the door to keep them in the down possition for cleaning.

To be honest, I think they look like crap and are just a stupid product. I'll tell ya what, just send me your address and I'll mail you my OEM's since they're still in good condition and I'll make sure to pay for return shipping so you can go ahead and mail the AMP's back to me for.....uhhhh... proper disposal.

Seriously though, nice job! I love 'em, but have decided that I'm not going to get them until I win the lottery. Somebody told me my chances would improve once I start playin' it, so once that happens, I'll be buyin' me a set of them!
