Good luck with the Tundra. I looked at one too.....pretty much for the same reason, although my rear end hasn't failed yet. Drove the Tundra and had a cool salesman that let me put her through her paces including a full on burnout. No doubt about it, that thing is a rocket and has brakes to match. But I just can't get past the looks, the cheap looking interior (switch gear, etc.), the lack of amenities (mines an LE, memory seats, heated seats, power folding mirrors, adjustable pedals, etc. etc.), and their 440 watt JBL sound system sucks compared to our Rockford Fosgate for sound quality. I decided to stick with my Titan and try to address the rear end issues....but nissan definitely doesn't make that easy (I'm wanting to change from 2:94 to 3:36 ratio). If Toyota ever gets their act together and builds a truck with equal overall quality to the Titan they're going to have one helluva truck. But as for me, right now, the Tundra just doesn't geterdone.
